I'm not much of a Jesse James fan but this place is next to the Patee House, which makes it an easy visit. It has some interesting artifacts, and if you enjoy going into 19 Century buildings, you may enjoy this stop.? You can take your child directly into the Carousel house without having to pay admission to the Patee... More

We were thrilled to be in the very home that Jesse James lived in and unfortunately met his demise It was smaller than I thought it would be. A lot of pictures of him but very little mention of his wife and children and did not see any pics of his family. It was a typical old west house with... More

This is the house where Jesse James was shot. The original location of the house is only a few block away from where it sits now. The bedroom appears the same, but the other two rooms were changed into a museum and a gift shop. They will push a button to play a recording with information for you. I saw... More

This was one of the few things that we wanted to see while in Kansas city, it was only about 50 minutes north of our hotel which was in kansas city, kansas by the raceway. the house was smaller than i pictured it, we were very happy that we got to stop by this piece of history and see where one... There's not much to the house, but if you like injecting yourself into the past, it's a winner. It'll only take about 15 minutes of your time.

Jesse James should not be rated as a hero. This is not much but for those who like stuff like this, then be sure to stop. This does not need to be on anyone's bucket list.

This is very short, you see where Jesse James lived and was murdered. It's connected to the Patee Museum where you get the full history of the life and times. Well worth the price and time, whether you are a fan of Jesse James, Civil War or not!

It was the house that Jesse James got shot in the back'you can see the bullet hole. The house was moved to this location right by the Patee house museum, which we didnt have time to see.Jesse home is very small but holds a lot of history of the outlaw. This is a small house, so it doesn't take a lot of time, but they pack a lot of information into the venue. Very balanced, very well researched. A must-see along with St Jo's other museums, a great weekend.
