Cool place inside and out.

Even if you don't go inside, it's nice to look at outside. It's a great place to go and take pictures of.

We were at the Missouri Theater recently for a live show. We had seats in the balcony, and what a view! First, everything on stage was easy to observe. Second, seats were comfy. Third -- and most important -- from the balcony, the walls and ceiling were fully unobstructed. Art is a combination of Art Deco and Moorish styles, and... More

My dear husband grew up in St. Joe, and he took me to see this historic beauty! Built in 1927, and designed by Waylande Gregory (when he was only a teenager) this theater has been restored (1.9 million dollars of restoration began in September of 2001,) and is really something to see. We were disappointed at first, because the front... More

Wow this place is beautiful. From what I understand this building has house entertainment for decades from movies to plays to local talent. The oustide of the building is just as beautiful. This little city has many masterpieces of beautiful building and old mansions.

This theater has been restored and remodeled and is as beautiful as ever. Such a wide variety of entertainment to choose from and all with great talent. Ticket prices are a great value for an afternoon or evening of theater and entertainment.

I took my family here to see Hairspray; I did not see many reviews on the theatre but decided to go anyway. I was not disappointed, the tickets were cheap and the performance was good. The theater itself had a very interesting layout and a real historic feel which I enjoyed. I would bring my family back to see another... More

There is not one thing that I dislike about the Missouri Theater. I love that they have restored the theater and not tried to remodeled it. Talent is superb and as good as any professional actor/artist that can be found on any stage.

The fabulous arabesque architecture and detailing, interior decorative elements, and comfortable seating make the Missouri Theater a uniquely wonderful setting for dramatic and musical events. Talented actors, production staff, and marketing make every play well worth seeing. It is also an ideal venue to enjoy the St. Joseph Symphony. A treasure!
