A gem in the heart of downtown St. Joseph, the Missouri Theater stands tall and majestic. It has been wonderfully maintained and restored, beautiful structure both inside and outside. Exquisite stained glass, marble and stone, it truly is breathtaking. The theater productions are all wonderful and very well done, and home to the St. Joseph Symphony. Absolutely beautiful!

St. Joseph can boast of amazingl architecture, and this beautifully restored theater is one of our crown jewels. The performances are always first class, from the Glenn Miller Band to the Nelson Twins to Ron White. There is never a shortage of talent and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Treat yourself to the best and don't forget... More

The architecture is beautiful in this theater. If you get a chance check it out - at least take a look inside and out. As a child I used to have my dance recitals there. I thought it was the most beautiful place. As an adult I can appreciate it even more.

For several years we were season tickets holders to the Saint Joseph Symphony. The majority of their concerts are held in the historic Missouri Theater. It is one of the outstanding architectural buildings in the downtown area. Also we have attended at least one play in the building. Although it isn't a huge facility it is well maintained. It had... We saw a few things here one memorable time was Pam Tillis. I liked her and I like this kind of music. When we go to the grand ole opry in Tennessee we look forward to seeing some of the oldies and with her dad being one of best in country music I was impressed that St. Joseph brought her... More

I love the architecture and ceiling. We go once a year as our daughters recital is there. I've also attended plays there. Pretty well kept.
