Krug Park is beautiful and enchanting! From the weekend after Thanksgiving through New Years Day, it becomes "Holiday Park", a fun drive through a maze of beautiful lights and holiday displays. During the rest of year, it is beautiful to drive through as the seasons change... lovely blossoms beginning in the spring, beautiful roses in the summer and gorgeous autumn... More

From the weekend after Thanksgiving until after New Years Day, Krug Park becomes a drive through Christmas wonderland with thousands of lights, holiday displays etc. I went through it this year and found it beautiful and enjoyable. It is free but they do appreciate any free will donation.

Have been there many times in my lifetime. Always beautiful, wide open. I still love the tunnels you can drive through.

Krug Park has gone through many changes over the years. At this point they are in the process of repairing the lagoon. It is a nice park with the lagoon, picnic areas, swings and animals. I do miss the donkeys and deer. Also years ago they had long slides at the castle that children and adults could use. I hope... More

Right now, they've drained out the lagoon for cleaning. But they'll soon refill and restock it. Typically it's full of geese flying in for some free bread that is always given to them in loaves. It's a great, large place to leisurely walk which is what I do. Also in the summer and fall you will see photographer's out there... More

The place looked nothing like the photos. There was no water at all. Massive excavations were underway (August 29, 2015). We did drive through the park which is very old. Not much impressed us. Two extremely old buildings near the park entrance. One was probably elegant in it's time -- now nothing more than a shell near some children's play... More

This is a really cool park with an amphitheater and historical buildings. If you need awesome outdoor pictures there are many great places in the park for that. They have two pens with a buffalo and the other longhorn which is weird for a city park.

Perhaps I'm a little biased towards Krug Park, my husband and I got married at the rose garden here in 2006. It's a beautiful park with several attractions within including an amphitheater. In the winter there is even a drive through Christmas light display. Great place for a relaxing drive or picnic.

Having lived in St joseph all my life, I have been to Krug Park many times. During the summer months it is a great place to go and have a picnic, lots of different areas to enjoy. Overlook the lagoon or have a picnic in the castle. Around the park are lots of places for the kids to play with... More
