The place looked nothing like the photos. There was no water at all. Massive excavations were underway (August 29, 2015). We did drive through the park which is very old. Not much impressed us. Two extremely old buildings near the park entrance. One was probably elegant in it's time -- now nothing more than a shell near some children's play... More

This is a really cool park with an amphitheater and historical buildings. If you need awesome outdoor pictures there are many great places in the park for that. They have two pens with a buffalo and the other longhorn which is weird for a city park.

Perhaps I'm a little biased towards Krug Park, my husband and I got married at the rose garden here in 2006. It's a beautiful park with several attractions within including an amphitheater. In the winter there is even a drive through Christmas light display. Great place for a relaxing drive or picnic.

Having lived in St joseph all my life, I have been to Krug Park many times. During the summer months it is a great place to go and have a picnic, lots of different areas to enjoy. Overlook the lagoon or have a picnic in the castle. Around the park are lots of places for the kids to play with... More

Krug Park is great for the whole family. There are many different playgrounds, picnic areas, walking trails, a lagoon with fish, turtles, ducks, & other wildlife. Deer & Longhorn cattle are in fenced enclosures. Our rose garden has been home to many weddings. We have a castle that you can reserve for baby or wedding showers. Something for everyone.

Haven't been here in over a year, what happened to this park? No lagoon...only weeds. It used to be one of the main attractions in this city but now it's just an eye sore.

This is to be in town around Christmas time. They make it look so wonderful, and it's free. If it's not the holiday season, it's still a nice place to walk around and take pictures of.

We had a picnic last night at Krug park. The pond has been drained to clean it out as it was getting pretty gross. They still haven't updated the area with the old playground equipment near the "castle" area yet. I suggested a wildflower area but doubt that will happen. The picnic tables could have been cleaner but I know... More

This park is gross and dirty. It is reflective of the area!! I wouldn't recommend this park or this city as a visitor stop in.
