At first you think it's someone's stately home, which it was, years ago. Then once around the back in the parking lot the entrance is visible. Beautiful pieces are on display both historic & contemporary, including students of Thomas Hart Benton.

The museum was a beautiful place for our wedding reception and Robyn the special events coordinator and her staff were just wonderful to work with. The guests enjoyed viewing the art, the gardens looked lovely, and the entire event flowed smoothly. We were very happy to be there.

Looking for a nice spot to have a light lunch that isn't fast food? This is the place to be! They serve lunch Wednesday and Thursday each week and the menu changes as well. This is a great spot for a girls luncheon, client lunch or just a date spot. Enjoy the art and the food!

It displayed local arists. Beautiful building and history. Eat some lunch why you are there. Make sure you go downstairs to view the black and white room.

My Mom and I went here on free museum day, and it was exactly like I'd remembered it being when I had went there in sixth grade. There's very cool art, but even cooler sculpture like pieces. Like I said, we went on free museum day, so I'm not too sure how much it would usually cost.

We had a group tour that was led by the museum director. He was incredibly informative and entertaining. Amazing what quality exhibits are available in ST. Joseph!

I’ve never considered myself a fan of the classics when it comes to art. I’ve preferred visiting living history museums rather than museums loaded with paintings and the like. I’m not sure why I continue saying that, because each time I go to a museum with classical and modern art pieces, I find myself impressed and amazed with the talent.... More

My 10-yr old niece and I met one of her friends and that girl's mom and took in everything, including the gift shop. We were disappointed that the cafe was not open, even for grab and go food items. The museum was quiet, not a lot of traffic, but we liked it that way. I would go again for sure,... More

Finding beauty in your hometown is always fun, and for me to enter the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art for the first time in 2013 was amazing. I was born in St. Joe and my father's government career took us across the US. I continued travelling/living internationally in Latin America, Euorpe, and Asia. Last year, while home in St. Joe, we... More
