My wife is new to BC from Kansas City Missouri. We stopped off at the viewpoint and visitor centre during a trip back home to the Okanagan from Edmonton and Jasper. We were fortunate to have clear skies offering a breathtaking view of the entire mountain, and neighbouring mountains. We stayed for a few hours, thoroughly enjoying the visitors centre... More

Worth stopping in if you are passing as they stock lots of useful leaflets and brochures about BC. There is a great little gift shop, gas station and cafe on the same site. The staff in the visitors centre are really nice and so keen to help. We were heading some 200kms away to a resort and they looked up... More

On this particular trip the summit was clouded over and we only saw 2/3 of the mountain . On 4 visits over the years I have only seen the entire peak once . It is magnificent though and consider yourself lucky if you pass by when it is clear . The staff were great and gave us a few tips... More

Well organized and full of interesting photos, brochures, artifacts and a giftshop to boot. I wish I could have stayed a bit longer and looked around but we were in a hurry.

Came to backpack up the mountain and the staff was super helpful. They were very well informed and where current in the conditions of certain areas of the trail. Always check in with them before hitting the trail.

Sorry I got jaded... the mountain is high, but to just visit the Visitor Center, it's .. a mountain. I liked Sulfer Mountian in Banff better as you could actually take a Gondola up... Even getting up to a certain point would be great. In the Visitor's Center they will arrange (I believe) tours in the area. There is a... More

Stopped over for a break on the way to our accommodation and found it to be very clean and welcoming. We took advantage of the short walk which we found informative.

Although it doesn't receive the tourism 'hype' like nearby Banff and Jasper National Park, Mt. Robson Provincial Park is a hidden treasure. I feel a large part of this is due to the visitor information centre. Not only is there plenty of staff whom are both knowledge and helpful, but also has a number of fascinating interactive displays. The centre... More
