History, booze, urban exploration, perfect photo background, and architecture all in one place. The port is to die for, I really haven't had a wine here I didn't love. My kids as well love the Shirley Temples and cheese platers. The location is breathtaking. The service amazing. This is a Kansas City area and Missouri wine must see.

We visited this location while driving back to KC from Excelsion Springs, Mo. The winery is very small, (we did not see any production areas) but the building it resided in, although still a work in progress, is on its way back to becoming a grand old place again. The tales of ghosts on the property should peak the interest... More

This place is a lil spooky to me, but besides it's history the winery is okay. The good part about the winery is that they give free wine tasting and the wine selections are pretty good. The downside to this winery is that it is in need of some maintenance. The outdoor patio is in desperately need of repair. I... More

There are many positives for this winery. Great staff. Cool ghost stories about this former orphanage. Complimentary tasting. Beautiful architecture. Just the setting makes this worth the stop. Their wines were good as well but overall the ambiance is the best thing. Truly unique story.

the winery is located in a beautiful setting. Renovations continue to make this a full service event location. Not too many choices of wine. Prices reasonable

Firstly can i say that the lovely Rachael who was working this day is such an amazing asset to this business. Even though there is so much work still to be done to this place and it kind of feels as though its on the fringe of built up homes it has that charm about it where you can buy... More

I have been to this winery many times. I really enjoy their wines and the environment of an old Odd Fellows home. The facility is beautiful as is the landscaping surrounding. My favorite part of this winery is the legend of the hauntings in the buildings. My friend and I even watched the television airing of the Ghost Hunters trip... More

We enjoy coming here and having a glass of wine and of course purchasing a nice bottle or 2 of wine. If we just want to relax or get a bit of history with a ghost or two thrown in, here is where we like to bring our friends. In addition they host mystery dinner theaters if you reserve the... More

Nice little start up winery right outside of Liberty. Great quick stop and short little tour type thing. Not a ton of food selection, but the wine tasting is a nice quick thing to do. The overall property is being slowly renovated to have a hotel and other attractions/activities. When that's done, it should be very nice.

Belvoir Winery is located in an historic, possibly ghost-inhabited building on the edge of Liberty MO. The wines are very good, and cheese/cracker platters are available. Indoor and outdoor spaces for comfortable seating. See their website for the services offered including weddings. Expansion has been planned to renovate more spaces in the huge building which was an Odd Fellows home.
