Even if you do not fish this place is worth the stop. 100 million gallons per day spring. Trout hatchery. Hiking trails. Beautiful scenery. A lot of fish-catching action to watch. Good restaurant. Friendly workers. All of the sites are free and and out of state fisherman can fish for about $10 per day including license and tags. Plenty of... More

Very small buffett for the approximately $15 price---especially the salad portion! Choices included mixed greens, cheese, corn-bean salad. Croutons, beets, jello, pudding, apple salad, olive slices, sweet pepper rings, not much else. Vegetable soup, no meat in it. The meat choices included fried catfish, 'fried' (?) chicken----looked like it was fixed in the oven---not crispy----, baked chicken, baked talapia, shrimp,... More

Can you please spray the campsites?!? Also tent camping in this area is for the birds. There is no grassy areas.... More

Been here a couple of times with my Mother. We went canoeing and had a great time. There's also a trout farm that's fun to see.

I've tent camped here a handful of times, most recently this past weekend. The state park is full of beauty, history, fly-fishing, and cool waters. The staff are friendly and helpful. I secured my tent site in advance with the on-line reservations, but they keep an entire loop open to first come, first served, something that is important for travelers... More

I've been coming here for years and have always enjoyed Bennett. I took my 11 year old daughter this week. She worked on her fly fishing skills and did a great job! The water is diverse and there are great spots for a beginner to practice all types of casts. We stayed by the Spring, in of the new units,... More
