My 4 & 5 year old nieces loved Kaleidoscope and the adults enjoyed it too. It was tough to get the 13 year old out of the black light room. They decorated bags, made puzzles, painted with watercolors, and so much more at no cost. The length of the session seemed short but since the number of entrants is limited,... More

This was our second visit. The staff was friendly. There were more supplies this time, including big roll of 2-color tissue paper, long strips of paper, gold crowns, big stickers, and leftover Hallmark card fronts. It was great for our kids, but I suggest you have man-to-man defense at this attraction. The timed session seemed shorter this time than last... More

Sponsored by Hallmark, this kid friendly place allows students to make special projects using Hallmark supplies. Make reservation for large groups.

It is next to the Hallmark Welcome Center & it is free. All you have to do is go in & sign up for a time. My kids had a ball here! It's a large work room filled with crazy decorations & has work stations that have all kinds of art supplies.... special colored paper, ribbon, letter shapes, number shapes,... More

We stopped by on a whim because I checked out Tripadvisor from my phone and figured what the heck. I have kids 3, 12, and 15, and all loved it. There are lots of arts and crafts to do, and they have several different themed rooms in which to do them, including a glow in the dark room where you... More

This is a great little spot to visit for free fun. They go in groups that have limited numbers so you have to go get a ticket for the next group and then get in line close to start time. So many different things to do like making your own homemade puzzle, painting, and more. You get a little bag... More

I did this in 5th grade (so not OCT 2013) with a class trip and I remember it like it was yesterday!!! What a blast!! If you've got kids and you're traveling to KC, bring them! I loved making crayon art! Melting the crayons was tons of fun!

Our girls had a great time at Kaleidoscope. We spent about an hour and a half but could have easily spent more time there. The room offered puzzle making, decorate a frame, watercolor, and creative supplies to make your own creation. A great experience watching the children's imagination become reality.

If you have children and find yourself in Kansas City, one place to consider visiting is Kaleidoscope. A fun place that stresses creativity, Kaleidoscope affords the children a place to roam around and make different crafts, all at no charge to parents. Kaleidoscope is a great idea on the part of Hallmark, the large card- making company headquartered next door.... More

This has to be the best place to take young children! It gets a little wild with so many little people running around but I never had a problem keeping up with mine with the open layout. Parking is often free at Crown Center so check before you visit. Even when it isn't free parking you just have to get... More
