It is nationally recognized for its one-of-a-kind programming. The Coterie's season is year-round and offers a Family Series and Preteen/Teen Series productions at the theatre's mainstage in Crown Center. Its "Coterie At Night" productions are intended for teens and adults and are performed at various venues. Individual, group and season tickets are available. Acting and theatre classes are offered year-round for students K-12th grades in Kansas City (Crown Center), Overland Park (Miller-Marley), Parkville (Park University) and Lee's Summit (MCC-Longview). An extensive summer camp program is offered at these sites plus Plaza (Pembroke Hill), South Kansas City (Notre Dame de Sion), and Liberty (Liberty Community Center). « less

Great location to enjoy a quality theatre experience, wth young talent. We have always been impressed with the quality of the plays and performers. Kansas City is lucky to have this high quality theatre located in the Crown Center. More

Front row seats. Kids sit can sit on floor up close. Very cozy and interactive. Good imagination on sets. Very enjoyable. More

I like to expose the grandkids to live-theater as often as possible and we never miss a performance here. My only complaint is that open seating and there are not enough actual seats for everyone as kids are expected to sit on the floor. If you like live theatre that is both well done and fun, this is the place for families. Located within Crown Center - it has seasonal offerings that bring you close to the action. Great entertainment for little money. I was amazed good the plays were with no sets. The actors did such a good job that you didn't need the props. More
