Saw Alton Brown Live at the Midland and it was excellent! The venue was absolutely beautiful! We were able to look around prior to the show starting and the details in the architecture were astonishing. The staff was quite nice, too! We had great seats for the show and it was a very memorable night!

This former opera house is a great venue for midern shows. The place has the feel if an underground club, but the ownership keeps it clean.

There are very few bad seats and the sound is nice but there is a very limited amount of vendors and only one main restroom area. Good for smaller events but wouldn't recommend for larger capacity events.

the Midland theater is a piece of Kansas City history. The architecture is just lovely! I could spend my entire visit just checking out the ceiling and all the detail. Great music venue. Comfortable seating and awesome sound.

First time here! Beautiful venue. Enjoyed wandering around and checking out the big cool chandeliers hanging down and old woodwork and lighting. Loved that you could take drinks 'inside' the theater. May sound strange, but some old theaters that have been refurbished won't let you take drinks outside of the bar area. So that was a nice surprise. Ushers walk... More

Some remodeling has made the Midland a very enjoyable place to see plays, concerts, and other performances. It is the near the Power and Light District so you can enjoy some more entertainment after your main show

We saw the Amy Schumer show on April 4. The theatre is amazing. Drinks are over priced but go figure, it's in the Power and Lights district and it was a Friday night comedy show. Parking is plentiful in the nearby garages. Ushers at the doors were very nice and helpful. We had never been to this theatre before so... More

I attended a Jim Gaffigan show with my boyfriend and parents here. The theater is gorgeous on the inside. I wasn't totally thrilled with the seating. They PACK seats in on the floor level. We were on row 11 from the stage, but there was no gradient to the seating, so I had a hard time seeing over the row... More

This theater is completely renovated and done very well. Its right downtown. Its a great venue with history. I love going here. The right amount of space, no bad seats, well and again as I mentioned the renovation, restoration, details...just so beautiful.
