We went to the stadium seating and they gave food and a bar when you get inside. The food is ok but the service is great. A great place to see a movie.

This beautiful venue is old but renovated. I've seen Don Rickels, Rodney Dangerfield, Shinedown, Halestorm, Lisa Lampanelli, SafetySuit and Needtobreathe here among others. All shows are intimate and fun. Spoiled me so I don't want to go to Sprint Center much now.

I have been to several nice venues...including the Vatican in Vatican City/Rome, Italy. The venue here is beautiful and elegant and aged well. It has many ornate features and there is even a huge bar within the theatre seating so to get a drink while your performance is in play means you won't miss a beat. There was plenty of... More

This large theater was built in 1927 during the era of big shows and not much other entertainment. Suitable for operas, plays, etc. Totally gothic in interior glamor - almost startling in opulance. Very helpful staff, plenty of parking (not free though). Seats several thousand.

You will enjoy seeing this lovely venue with it's many huge chandeliers and ornate woodwork. It is very impressive and I enjoyed seeing Diana Ross here very much. The seating though is folding chairs and the rows were fairly close together. Someone had spilled a drink too and the floor was wet. That's the downside of allowing drinking in the... More

I was stunned the minute I walked into the Midland. This place is just incredible and it is like walking directly into the fanciest party of the 1920s. Far from being outdated or dingy, this place is just gorgeous. When the husband went to the bathroom, I just stood against the wall with my head spinning. There were details in... More

Saw Alton Brown Live at the Midland and it was excellent! The venue was absolutely beautiful! We were able to look around prior to the show starting and the details in the architecture were astonishing. The staff was quite nice, too! We had great seats for the show and it was a very memorable night!

This former opera house is a great venue for midern shows. The place has the feel if an underground club, but the ownership keeps it clean.

There are very few bad seats and the sound is nice but there is a very limited amount of vendors and only one main restroom area. Good for smaller events but wouldn't recommend for larger capacity events.

the Midland theater is a piece of Kansas City history. The architecture is just lovely! I could spend my entire visit just checking out the ceiling and all the detail. Great music venue. Comfortable seating and awesome sound.
