I think the Kauffman has incredible acoustics and is one of the most beautiful performing arts anywhere
Great ballet / amazing special effects / beautiful 1st class venue / a must do experience at least once / we have season tickets, great seats, not really a bad seat in the theater
Excellent performance in a stunning venue. Every detail done well in this great performing arts center.
People watching from the sixth floor of the Kauffman Center while looking out the windows at the Kansas City skyline was fantastic. And then we saw our show. AMAZING. We watched the Kansas City Ballet and the Kansas City Orchestra perform Dracula. It was definitely a night I will remember forever. I purchased our tickets online and printed them at... More
I have enjoyed every event I have attended at the Kauffman Center. I much prefer events where the music is live to the ones with canned music (some dance companies). It is such a treat to see the Kansas City Ballet perform accompanied by the ballet symphony! Everyone who has attended a performance here knows that exiting after a performance... More
This was a wonderful place to see the different theaters and architecture of this beautiful building. The food and drink was really good, just long lines but staff managed everything well. The wooden theater that is supposed to be the inside of a violin is absolutely stunning. This was a magical night, with lots of different musical types, performers, from... More
We attended a musical at the Kauffman and enjoyed the venue. Very stylish, all seats were good seats. Coat Check. Parking at the center garage was easy to get out of and free. Not sure if it is for all events but this musical it was and it made the exit quick.
The center is beautiful and every seat is great. The ballet at the time wasn't that great. I don't even remember the title- something with sailors. But the title was the beginning vignette and that was the worst of the various ballet vignetts.
This venue is the best in the nation when it comes to acoustics and architecture. I would highly recommend that a visitor attend an event in this facility.
Beautiful theater. We sat in the front row of the mezzanine, perfect seats, but from what I could tell, there was not a bad seat in the house. Everything looked and sounded great. Hoping to make it back for Dracula in February!
