Both theaters within the Kaufman Center are amazing. The acoustics are fantastic and there is not a bad seat in the house. The clean lines and lightness within the building make it truly an architectural phenomenon. Secure parking is available.

We have had the pleasure of going here 4 times in a year. The architecture is stunning......world class. The shows are beautiful, sound wonderful, parking is a breeze. KC is so fortunate to have something of this caliber in the city. We love it!
We had a Saturday evening in Kansas City with no plans and decided to walk to the Kaufman center from our hotel and see what was available. We saw and extremely enjoyable Jazz Ballet, performed in three parts. Not your usual classic ballet, but very nice.
Beautiful setting! This center is a must visit for any traveler to Kansas City. Google this center and make sure to buy tickets for an event when in KC.
We attended a performance of the Lyric Opera; both the orchestra and voices sounded great. In this modest size hall, many of the seats provide a close view of the stage. I could do without the aluminum looking facing on the boxes, but maybe it helps the acoustics.
The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City is truly one of America's finest performance venues. The building itself is an architectural masterpiece and the acoustics are perfect for concerts, whether by the excellent Kansas City Symphony or by chamber groups or solo artists. Kansas City is fortunate to have such an excellent center.
Seating 1400 the space still feels intimate. Acoustics are amazing. The performers sang a song acapella without mikes and got a standing O. Very fine indoor parking set-up, lobby bar. One of the country's finest performance venues.
We did the Happy Hour concert: show up for a glass of wine at 5:30, move into the hall at 6:00, enjoy as short concert of one hour. Have a great experience in the glass enclosed atrium. Go to dinner at the nearby Webster House. Not too difficult!!!!
We had the opportunity to attend a performance at the center and it was great. The seats are comfortable and the surroundings are stunning.
It's an experience that Kansas City theater and concert goers won't want to miss. Very new, very modern concert hall with two theaters - it's really more spectacular on the outside than it is wonderful on the inside, 'cause negotiating your way around is kind of difficult, but as trends go, it's the place to be.
