Just the place to spend a summer night for people watching, dining, drinks and music. This has become an icon for KC. Major sports events appear on huge screen for lots of fun hype. You will find mostly the young crowd in the evenings but the older will not feel out of place, as the dining vinues are unlimited and... More

This place is well thought out. Minus a few small details. During the summer they have some concert series on Thursday nights. I figured it would be some small stage with a 100 people or so watching and passing through. I stopped in early, had dinner, and when I walked outside the crowd had gone from a few hundred to... There are several restaurants to visit before you hit the bar scene. Then several bars to visit until late in the evening. They had a life DJ on stage and dancing in the courtyard the night we went. A large screen behind the DJ showed the music videos. There is outside picnic tables and other options for seating. We visited... More

We stumbled across the bar/restaurant area in the Power and Light District at 9:00 on a Saturday night. It truly needs to be seen to believed. It's a two-story venue with about 20 bars facing a courtyard with more bars, seating and a large tv. Each bar has a different theme - dueling pianos, Mexican cantina, bull riding, rave....you name... Awesome bar hopping scene, and a great place to head out for the night. We were there during the Foster the People concert, and it was an amazing venue. Lots of fun.

Wish we could have seen a show at this little concert area in the Power & Light District. This place was surrounded by restaurants and had a great vibe.

You pay to get in to the actual area. After a certain time debit card only. Then you have to pay to get into each club. Music okay you get a different variety because of the different options of clubs. Younger crowd.

The Power & Light is not big enough for the crowd the Sprint Center can hold. Therefore, not being a fan of having someone I don't know in my personal space. We went back to the hotel and enjoyed the hotel bar.

Lovely area with plenty of entertainment for all. After dark, it is probably more suitable for adults. Great restaurants and bars --LOVED Maker's Mark Bourbon House & Lounge!
