Near Country Club Plaza and UMKC is a secret jewel of a place, a walled garden that offers solitude and beauty, benches and fountains, a profusion of color, texture, and fragrance. Take ten minutes, take an hour. Bring a book or your Ipod. Share it with a friend or keep it to yourself, this season or the next, early morning... More

We took a mostly senior aged group of 12 people to visit the garden in June. It has a wide variety of plants, trees, and flowers in a compact area. The variety makes it beautiful throughout the growing season. Fountains add to the beauty too. It is easy to access all of it, even for those with walkers or wheelchairs.... More

Free parking in the middle of a very busy area- time to take a walk or catch your breath in this very nicely laid out garden. The Kaufmans are laid to rest here- no birthdate on the wife's stone. and don't feed the cat- she is getting fat and lazy- so says the sign.

Some of us require an occasional garden fix and here is an excellent opportunity to have one without feeling the need to devote a large part of the day to taking one in. On top of that, it is free to the public. Well cared for, the Kaufmans are actually interred on the grounds, with a wide variety of plants.

This was a nice little garden to wander round. Good selection of flowers and shrubs interspersed with statues and a fountain. Very pleasant on a nice day and wasn't crowded when we visited. Rest rooms on site. Parking not a problem.

Loved the peace and quiet. Flowers were beautiful. Perfect place to read (and I did just that). The fountain was calming.

The fountains and garden is very pretty. Small, but beautiful. You can walk from here to the Nelson Atkins also which is convenient.

We visited the Ewing and Muriel Kauffman Memorial Garden and were not disappointed. Everything was nicely manicured and the ability to transition from the hustle and bustle of Kansas City to a relaxing garden was unbelieveable. We will visit again when in Kansas City!
