Wow, what a beautiful little spot to relax and enjoy the flowers. Very well maintained. Bonus: resident cat who likes to be loved on.

This is a lovely place to visit any time of year. It is conveniently located near the Country Club Plaza and Nelson-Atkins Art Museum. There is a nice parking lot and it does accommodate wheelchairs as we took a guest in one once. On our most recent visit, the plants were as lush as I have ever seen them and... More

We stopped at this memorial garden after visiting the W.W. I Museum. After being immersed in thoughts of war and human misery, the serenity and peacefulness of the garden was so uplifting. Everything about the garden is beautiful: the layout, plantings, gravesite niche, and greenhouse. A bonus was meeting the resident cat/greeter, Gracie. Just five minutes in this delightful place... We are glad we had the chance to stop and see these really beautifully maintained gardens. Unfortunately, we caught it early July, and most of the colors were gone. Looks like the major colors in the blooms we missed by a week or so. Small, compact, and easy to get thru in an hour or 2 at the most. Nice... More

What a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the budding flowers and serene fountains. Located near the Country Club Plaza, this is a romantic date and a fantastic place to take beautiful pictures. Perfect for wedding, prom or homecoming pictures. It's free.

During a day out in KC decided to stop by the Muriel Kauffman Memorial Garden. I had been here before and it was a beautiful as I remembered. The flowers were still in bloom (had everything labeled) and everything was so well manicured and maintained. The fountains are wonderful and there are so many nooks to sit and just enjoy... More

Kaufman Memorial gardens has a beautiful layout - This is a FREE attraction near the Nelson-Adkins Museum - a memorial garden which features local plants and flowers - unfortunately the spring weather has played havoc with their horticultural display - many plants were still in flats waiting for a more favorable planting moment -

This is a beautiful garden setting with a varied assortment of plants both inside a large green house structure and outside in the magnificent garden with flowing fountains. The grave site is simple but fitting and adds to the tranquility of the scene. Parking is easy and there is no charge either for parking or for visiting the gardens. This... More

We stumbled upon this on our last day - there were lots of family's doing portraits. Worth a trip on a nice weather day - beautiful flowers.

This is a pocket garden in the middle of the metro KC area. It's well maintained and beautiful. The botanical specimens are mostly labeled, so it's possible to expand one's horticultural knowledge painlessly. Parking and admission are free. Even if you only have 30 minutes, this is a worthwhile stop.
