As a place of faith and worship ... Yes, maybe. As a cultural attraction... I didn't see it. It's not even an achitectual interest unless strip mall churches are envogue... No offense ... This was a disappointment and misleading. I'm not sure this attraction fits in with the mission of Trip Advisor.

I've visited and reviewed this place, and my reviews have been deleted. I'm not sure why, but I'll post my experience again because potential visitors deserve to hear about a wide range of experiences when making their decisions. First of all, I think the International House of Prayer does some good things for the South KC and Grandview communities. It's... More

I'm Evangelical Southern Baptist. This is unbiblical for sure. They have an unaccredited school where they take people's money for what in return I don't know. I think it's a little on the cultish side. The extremely repetitive music is a dead give away.

You definitely need to visit If you need to be refreshed and renewed. They really love Jesus and the invisible is made visible.

There isnt enough things I could say about this place. From the moment you walk in, the peace of God falls on you. The worship is 24 hours a day. Its hard to get a parking spot at certain times, but that is a good problem to have when people are worshiping God. There are people to pray with you... More

This organization is evil in the worst sense of evil. They have gone to a third world nation Uganda and have promoted within the government the policy of killing all homosexuals. They can't do this in the US so they have gone to Uganda, a country that has a history of slaughter, and now they are continuing the tradition. The... More

There is no history or architecture involved so listing this religious institution on a tourism site makes no sense and shows how low they will go to convert.

Prayer and Prophetic conference for 2013 was amazing. IHOP crew does a fantastic job organizing and executing conferences. Got to spend some time in the Prayer Room Saturday evening from 10pm - 12am with the IHOPU and intern folks, contending for joy and peace from the throne. They are a hospitable church, filled with generosity for visitors.

I visited IHOP the first time during September 1999 when they were in their first month of non-stop intercession and worship, 24 hours a day. When I went back this time I experienced a culture shock because the ministry expanded so much. They grew from a trailer in 1999 to a strip mall in 2013. I missed the intimacy of... More
