The roses and fountains are amazing. A relaxing place to visit and stroll through. Very nicely maintained, clean, gardens in wonderful shape. Stop and smell the roses while here!

This is a fantastic park for a walk. You can see a nice landscaped area in peace and quiet. It down not seem to attract the type of people to play loud music and make the park unsafe. It is in a nice area.

A beautiful city park with, as obvious from other reviews, noted for its rose garden. Also, has several small ponds. I was there to walk around for the signage regarding the battlefield (Battle of Westport). If you read the information closely you can get a pretty good idea of what happened during the battle. Tucked inside an upscale neighborhood an... More

I had never seen the Rose Garden at Loose Park. Most rose varieties were in bloom although some were past peak. It was difficult to dodge the professional photographers and their subjects, although those I encountered were very polite to those who needed around them.

We found the park by accident. The roses were in bloom and it was beautiful. Next time in KC we will get BBQ to go and come here for a picnic

located in a lovely neighborhood of Kansas City, the Rose Garden is the perfect backdrop for a wedding. They have beautiful rolling grounds and a sweet little pond with ducks. Great place to do artwork or relax with a book.

I've visited this rose gardens many times over the years, and it currently is ok, but rather sad compared to days past. There was a wedding party being photographed while we were there. The garden is peaceful, but the roses need much more attention.

Loose Park is located under five minutes from the Country Club Plaza. Ringed by a paved walking path, it is a beautiful spot to get a bit of exercise. The rose garden there is stunning and there is a pond where ducks and turtles congregate. It is one of the Kansas City's gems!

I visit here frequently with my kids, aged 10-19 yrs. We love the duck pond/fountain area. On this last visit we saw baby ducklings (so cute!), turtles, fish and geese. Careful for the goose poop on the sidewalk, but otherwise this park is very well maintained. I've been visiting this park since I was in High School, even had some... More
