Nice that this is a free attraction ! Interesting look at the history of an iconic company. I thought the Christmas tree collection was really cool and I enjoyed a look through some of the ornaments, finding the ones we have. A little disappointed they didn't have one of every ornament or series but I would imagine that would take... More

This attraction is worth a look especially if you are at the Crown Center or Kaleidoscope. It is located next to Kaleidoscope, which I have reviewed independently here on TA. It gives a good history of the company and has some interesting memorabilia that includes an Emmy. It's a Free attraction and takes about one hour, less if you simply... More

Avoid the crowds. Weekdays are great. We even had a docent. Be sure to get your parking tic validated. Exhibits are beautifully presented. Not much of an attraction for small children

Lots of neat stuff to see here however it isn't exactly the most exciting place I have been. It probably isn't an attraction that a man would like however you can't beat the price of FREE.

There are a wide variety of interesting exhibits here, from a display of Christmas trees to a bow-making machine (which gives free samples). Everyone knows Hallmark, so it's interesting to see the history of the company. The gift shop is small and disappointing, but then again, you can go to any Hallmark store to buy Hallmark products. On the plus... More

Hallmark Cards Visitors Center. What a treat! Kansas City enjoys another icon of a business founded by Joyce C. Hall and continued by his son Donald Hall, this Hallmark Visitors Center is quite unique! The history of the greeting card and all of the other good things created by Hallmark Cards artists are featured. We spent a lot of time... More

This visitors center could be interesting if you took the time to read the displays. But if you have younger children, there isn't much in the center that will catch their attention.

I was hoping for a look into how cards are made, or maybe a little more than what is actually there. You can see it all in about ten minutes - if you walk slowly. There is a good deal of memorabilia on display, but it is cluttered and has no "story." I was hoping to learn more about how... More

A nice way to spend 45 minutes to an hour when visiting Kansa City. Located in crown center, this FREE attraction gives an overview of the founding Hall Family and the famed Hallmark company. You will see famous original artwork, see presidential Christmas cards, holiday ornaments and can watch videos and even make your own souvenir gift bow. When we... More

Actually, I guess I at least hoped they gave tours of the factory but apparently not. The closest the visitor's center came was a small display of machinery that wasn't operating - although you do get to push a button and watch a machine make a ribbon. You can also get a free postcard. The display of cards was honestly... More
