Not the greatest attraction ever but was still interesting and fun. It's free which is never a bad thing. You even get a free gift when you leave. The bow machine was the highlight. We were there for maybe an hour. Don't go out of your way to come here but if you have time, It's worth it.

The visitors center was interesting and entertaining. They have lost of items on display as well as an exhibit about how they make cards. There's even a machine that shows you how they make gift bows and you get to keep the bow when it is finished! On our way out of the museum, we were given a free talking... More

This free visitors center provides a history of hallmark and information about its ornaments, cards and TV channel. There are videos where artists describe their work. There are also machines that are normally running but on the weekend they weren't running. They describe how the cards are made. We got a free gift when leaving. We were in and out... More

We are older but thought we would enjoy this as the description said we would see the action part of making greeting cards. Not today! No machines were running. They did have one machine that you see make a small bow--and you get to keep the bow! At least this is FREE because it wasn't worth the walk in the... More

This is a free museum. My family really enjoyed seeing the history of hallmark. Lots of well done displays of cards, ornaments, etc. My 3 and 6 yr old enjoyed the movie about making crayons and loved watching the bow machine make a bow for them. If you have kids be sure to do the kaleidoscope craft center next door.... More

A nice display of all things Hallmark. A small and easy to navigate museum. Lots of interesting info on the cards, films, TV station and equipment, among other things. Worth your time if in the Crowne Center area.

I am a card lover and send cards to all of my extended family & friends for all birthdays, anniversaries etc. So of course I'm going to stop at the Hallmark Visitor's Center when in KC. I was here in KC on a road trip with my sister, who surprised me by agreeing to go to the visitor center with... More

There are several historical items categorized by year. Also, they show you how they make cards. There also is quite a bit on their Hallmark Hall of Fame video series. They even gave us a gift when we left which was worth $15.

I always wanted to visit it but when I had one afternoon off I decided to visit it by myself. It was perfect! You can visit it in your pace, reading everything, taking lots of photos and enjoying everything it's shown in the display. I am sure everyone will enjoy it! Mainly people who like decorations, Christmas and cards! Leaving... More

The visitors center is a nice stop if you are in Kansas city. It is a self walk through exhibit, you can take your time to look & listen to everything, or just walk through and take a look. I spent probably 45 minutes there. There is the history of Hallmark, lots of cards & merchandise from way back when.... More
