Family brought us here to see a local landmark, and because I send them so many of these cards through the years! It was a great way to spend a few hours, and to learn the history of the icon. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Afterwards, we took advantage of the shops next door. Can just imagine what this venue must... More

We visited the Center on our way through KC to get out and stretch our legs. We were welcomed by the ladies at the front desk and told to just follow the exhibit around on a self-guided tour. It was interesting to see the collection of memorabilia from the history of Hallmark. It took about 20 minutes and it was... More

My husband and I visited this attraction in early November 2014. We heard it was free and we were staying at the Westin which is attached to the Hallmark Crown Center which includes a shopping mall and other attractions that charge a fee. First, this place is almost impossible to find (we had to ask several people in the Crown... More

This is a really neat place to visit. It's free & it tells the story of the Hall family that started Hallmark. We loved how it intertwined with other things that were going on in history. Loved the part about the cards that were created for the various Presidents or Vice-Presidents & the part about Winston Churchill. Also loved the... More

Tour takes about 45 minutes. It tells the history of the Hall family and has interactive displays to explain the history of the company from the 1920s to present day. There is a machine that makes a bow for you, in under 10 seconds. Look up if you choose to have your picture taken.

Tripadvisor should have added the price on each attraction first of all. And the center is free and have information about the company and what they have been achieving. Interesting. The parking entrance sign should be made

This has a self guided tour of displays that show the history of Hallmark. This is the World headquarters for Hallmark. There is an 11 minute film that was very interesting but you must ask them & they will start it anytime in a little auditorium. They have times when Hallmark staff come down & give a discussion of what... More

I agree with a previous review - a hidden gem. While visiting the aquarium & Legoland, you must make the stop at the Hallmark History Center. The memories it brought back for my husband and I were unbelievable and our 12 yr old really enjoyed it as well - lots of visually interesting things to look at - the period... More

I could have spent longer here. There's a lot to read and look at. The kids were antsy. It's free. And you can make a bow and have a picture taken and emailed to you.

I was in and out in 5 minutes, but a friends mother said she could have stayed for days. It wasn't my bag, but it did have lots of displays of their cards and movies over the years.
