Crown Center has free wi-fi. Westin Crown Center rooms do not. At the end of the day, the ice cream is a good nightcap for the kids.

this was the first time I have been in KC when the fountains were on. I especially enjoyed this one since at the top of the hour there was a little fountain show with music. There are tables with umbrellas on either side so you can enjoy your lunch. As much fun as the fountain show, are the children that... More

On a recent visit to KC, we had some time to kill while waiting for lunch at Jack Stack's, so our friends took us to Crown Center. Initially, I found Union Station to be interesting and the walkway to be functional, but all I found once passing through the Westin was a chaotic mess of children and chain restaurants. Perhaps... I really enjoyed the toy shops, and the Crayola shop. I wish I'd been hungry so I could have tried out one of the restaurants on the main level. Free Wifi!!

not worth it if kids are over 10. Found it full of very young kids, hectic, loud and not very interesting.

This Crown Center is conveniently attached to our Westin Hotel, and we stopped by just about every single day. Cannot remember any other such family friendly mall anywhere. Lots of fun restaurants, not that many shops, but many, many fun activities for children. When we took the bus tour, the driver told us all to stay away from this place... More

This summer from May 23 - September 7, Crown Center will be home to "Storyland: A Trip Through Childhood Favorites." This exhibit transforms seven beloved and award-winning picture books (The Tale of... More

My first time here. Loved the fountains! The fountains go to music which is very cool! They also have a skating rink. The skywalk was nice. Enjoyed the stores and want to go back and visit the aquarium they have there.

Crown Center has been compared to a "City Within A City". Like any city, there a good points and bad. I do not have the stats in front of me, but this place is absolutely enormous! It has two luxury hotels, Hallmark's world headquarters, lots of speciality shops, theaters and restaurants. It's also connected to Union Station via a pedestrian... More
