Great little park for picnic or BBQ, a walk, feed the duck, or go for a run on the track that circles the park.

The Rose Garden is spectacular. I recommend going the first week of June when the roses are at their peak. The trail is nicely paved for a comfortable run around an well-maintained open space. Perfect place for kite-flying, tennis, strolling, picnic, family photos...you name it!

Loose Park is a beautiful oasis in mid-town Kansas City. There is a trail that goes all around the park, tennis courts, playgrounds, the lake, a splash park, room to play frisbee. If you love the outdoors, you will love Loose Park!

There was a lot of activity in the park. People walking about and taking photographs, etc. We went in November so the fountains were off and flowers out of season, but it was still very nice. I would like to go back in the Spring or Summer. It's a nice park to get out and walk around for a little... More

This sweet park can't be beat! The homes surrounding it are lovely, the Rose garden is alsmot a city landmark. The romance lingers in the air heavily...unless I am picking up pheromones from the joggers...either way, it is an intoxicating place for lovers.

Got some bbq to go and headed to the park. Found a nice picnic table in the shade. Took a walk through the rose garden. Close to the Country Club Plaza area. Nice place to spend some time, take a walk, relax on a nice day.

We visited Loose Park and Rose Garden with family and friends. The day was a perfect park day. James, a little, two-year-old son of our friends spent the entire time playing on the playground, kicking and chasing his ball, and playing catch with his Dad and our son-in-law. The grounds were beautiful. Although most of the roses had already bloomed... More

After exploring art at the Nelson and shops on the Plaza, we headed over to this park donated to the city in memory of Jacob Leander Loose by his wife Ella. Mr. Loose helped build the Loose-Wiles Biscuit Company, makers of cookies, soda crackers, and cereals. Later, they would change thier company name to Sunshine Biscuit where famous products such...
