I lived in Kansas City for 7 years and have been away for 5 years but nothing can be as majestic as the lighting of the Plaza at Christmas time. If you are heading to KC in September you must check out the art fair. It's great fun, great weather, great music and most of all great art. Enjoy the entire day browsing around all the vendors and there's plenty to eat and do. Fun art tents for the kids too. Most of the art is pricey but it's all... more

I love the Plaza. I do a lot of window shopping, as most of the stores are expensive stores. They do cater to the "wealthier," but that doesn't stop me from browsing and enjoying that atmosphere. Lots of stores and restaurants and fountains. Great highlight of K.C. more

I have been to KC about 5 times in my life and every time the experience gets better! My sister goes to college at Rockhurst so she knows her way around the town good and tells us where to go but it is definetly a good time. Great food more
