I really loved visiting the Plaza for my first time this past weekend. During the holidays it is lit up beautifully and there are a ton of options for food and to shop. Unfortunately Saturday evening was not a good idea to try and go down as it took over an hour in traffic (from 3 miles away) to get... More

The Country Club Plaza is the place to be seen in Kansas City. A great place to shop, eat, or just take a stroll around the beautiful plaza square. Stop and gaze at the fountains, see the wonderful buildings, or just sit and enjoy the views. Wonderful, little side walk cafe's, or dine in luxury. The Plaza has all you... More

Great for dinner, but head back to westport or the power and light district if you want to party. We ate at jack stacks for bbq but there are tons of restaurant choices here. Fairly upscale and pricey.

I love the Plaza bc it has all the stores, hotels and many restaurants! Also is well kept and pretty. It is also very romantic. Our last visit was for my Bday and one of my fav places...The Cheese Cake Factory! I get sad bc they do have horse carriages but that is about it. We never have trouble finding... More

Everything was very crowded but that is to be expected on Black Friday. Probably the worst was the lack of toilet facilities.

The tradition continues and is spectacular. It all started with only one strand of lights. I loved walking around the Plaza in the evening when the lights are on. There are several very nice restaurants to eat at, both expensive or mid price range. A variety of stores. The Plaza was built to 'copy' the architecture of Seville Spain which... More

This is an almost annual trip during the Christmas Season- We usually do dinner and then cocktails and then some hot chocolate. I started going here when I was in my 20's-Then My husband and then our kids and then our Grand Kids--I have enjoyed taking my parents and in-laws. There is no age limit for this attraction. You can... More

If you are ever in Kansas City after Thanksgiving and before Christmas you need to check out the Plaza lights. Amazing colors and the ambiance will get you in the Christmas spirit.
