The Country Club Plaza is a decent shopping center. Most of the stuff is pretty over-priced and it can be hard to find and navigate the exact store you are looking for. The movie theater is barely adequate and the service there is kind of poor. The Holiday light display is nice, especially if you stay at a neighboring hotel.

Essentially a big mall spread out over several streets Country Club Plaza offers a mix of shopping and dining options. Perfect for a Saturday or Sunday with friends, family or on your own

Beautiful outdoor shopping district built in the 50s to replicate Seville Spain. It has many upscale shops, restaurants, fountains, and architecture to see.

Okay, it's a tourist trap but it is beautiful, full of energy and has great places to shop. You must see it while you are in Kansas City...at least once.

If you like to shop & not go to a typical mall - this area has lots of great shops. There are some basic stores like you would find in a mall & many other shops that are unique. It tends to be on the upscale side. But there are stores in every price range. Lots of restaurants & bars... More

The Country Club Plaza was the country's first "shopping mall". An outdoor shopping area with amazing architecture and great restaurants. Shop 'til you drop, have some great food, but don't forget to see all of the fountains, rod-iron gates and other architecture. JC Nichols was inspired by the architecture of Seville, Spain and several pieces were imported from Seville. Take... More

I have been all over and always enjoy going to the plaza in KC. They have great shops and restaurants, free parking, and there are always events going on during the year. It is as good for people watching as you will find in KC. Take a day while in KC to eat, shop and stroll; well worth it.

The shops are great. You have a wide variety of shopping. Many great restaurants with bars. The fountains are beautiful. If you come between Thanksgiving and Christmas the lights are a real sight to see. Fun place.

Built in the 20s (?), this is a large shopping area (not an enclosed mall) with numerous interesting buildings in a kind of Spanish-Moorish architectural style. Unfortunately, most of the shops have been taken over by national chains, depriving the area of some of its individuality. Most of the shops are towards the high end.

This is the highlight of a Holiday trip. Also a great place for foodies. The Plaza has any kind of food you like. I especially like the chocolate shop.
