The Country Club Plaza is the crown jewel of Kansas City. The first "shopping mall" includes hundreds of high end stores and restaurants. The classic Spanish architecture is reminisent of Kansas City's sister city Seville, Spain. Beautiful Fountains enhance the beauty of the area. This is the place to go if you like shopping. A good mix of high end and standard mall stores. There are also great restaurants including Cheesecake Factory and Fiorella's BBQ - both excellent. More

I am fortunate enough to live close to The Plaza and can visit quite often. There are top rated restaurants and unique shopping. If you just wish to walk around you can enjoy all of the fountains and people watch on various benches. It is a wonderful atmosphere with midwestern hospitality all around. More

Excellent upscale HIGH taxes teens get noisy and sometimes violent if night catches you on the plaza. Any night shopping and dining go to Zona Rosa. Both the people the area AND the shopping is upscale!!!!! More
