Known locally as The Plaza. Said to be the first "shopping center" designed for arrival by car. Many upscale shops and restaurants. The Plaza is designed to resemble Seville, Spain. It reminds me of shopping downtown, before the shopping centers and malls took over. The Plaza is lighted at Christmas time.

While in Kansas City visiting last month we went to Country Club Plaza to do a little shopping. This is shopping at it's finest. We spent a couple of hours checking out the shops and bought some toys for our grandson. The stroll included fountains and brightly colored tiled roof tops. Very enjoyable!

Great shopping, helpful people, wonderful selection of shops and restaurants. We shopped all day and had appetizers every few hours to try different eateries.

This place has developed into a young, hip place to be. There were many good places to eat and people everywhere. People were having fun. The horse carriages dressed up for valentines day were fun to watch. I felt the shopping was limited. Home stores and young expensive clothing stores. Wonderful area with tons of restaurants and high-end shops. The area has great architecture and is close to many other attractions in the city.

Especially gorgeous at Christmas with all the lights, but always a super place to shop or eat. The Spanish architecture is charming.

Shopping on the Plaza is fun.....has a different flair but the prices are higher in the shops and the restaurants.
