We stayed at this campground for 2 nights and found it to be a nice quiet location with sites both high above the lake and lower next to the beach. Since it was early April, the beach wasn't a consideration plus those sites do not have electric hookups. We found our stay to be very nice and staff was helpful.... More

Good launch ramps, and campgrounds. Many fishing tournaments originate here, and it has a nice public beach.

Many people who go to the lake have no idea where this park is located. It is a place that tournament fisherman know very well. Many Bass Tournaments use this park as the put in place for fisherman. Part of the State Park sets on the old Boy Scout Camp grounds (Camp Pahetsi). There are picnic tables in the area.

We had a great campsite with full hook up and a wonderful view. It is a little far out for dining and city life if you want to drive in and experience Osage Beach, but the Kayaking was great and it was very beautiful.

Put this on your bucket list; I should not be giving it such a good review because it is such a gem, don't want it to get too crowded! Excellent fishing, my all-time favorite camping site.

This state park is located on the Grand Glaize arm of the lake near the town of Osage Beach, Missouri. We enjoyed driving around and seeing all the different things available in this park. They've got it all -- tent camping, cabins, rv camping, stables and horseback riding, many trails of all varieties, public beach access to swimming in the lake, naturalist programs at the amphitheatre and a beautiful setting.
