This was a fun experience with lanterns and guided tour into the cavern. Inside is an amazing natural feature you must see!! Tour took about 1 hour and was $10 per person. We personally felt that it was a good investment especially since it was about 100 degrees when we toured. Bring a sweatshirt if you'd like, it can get... More

My and my wife are here on our 5 year anniversary. I the cabins with a/c are fantastic. Unfortunately we picked one of the farthest cabins from the main ground where the bathroom are at. Between all of that and the ninja spider weds in our faces we still love it here. We are planing on doing all of this... More

Went for a big family get together and picnic. The shelter house that we went to was very big and had a nice big grill. Hiking trail right off of the shelter. found some cool rocks that looked like geodes and overall was a great day. Bathroom could have used some TLC.

we stayed on the hottest weekend of this year so far, but it was a great campground and the staff was super friendly. It was a challenge getting backed into the sites but once you are in it was great.

My friends and I camped here for a weekend and it was amazing. There were hardly any bugs (we were there late June) and the campground was well-kept and clean. They have nice bathroom and shower facilities and the campgrounds are right on the lake. Each campground comes with a firepit and grate, table, hanging hook, and driveway. We had... More

We went on a guided horseback ride at Lake Ozark Stables. We paid for an hour ride and ended up getting a little extra time. Both guides were extremely friendly and experienced..they even gave us a few history lessons about the area. On one part of the trail, we went past a pioneer cemetery in the woods. I would definitely... More

We are in our 3rd year of traveling with our travel trailer during the spring and autumn months. Our preference is to stay at state campgrounds because they are inexpensive and provide all your camping needs (if you can live without wifi!) The Lake of the Ozarks state park is a premier park that sets the standards for all other... More

Went to the beach. Nice beach area, had public restrooms, good parking. Beach is very rocky and you will need to wear shoes even in the water.

It was a little hard to find the correct address to put into Google Maps, but I did a little sleuthing and figured out that if you type in “Out Post Road, Kaiser, MO”, that will get you where you need to go. I would still suggest arriving before dark if it’s your first time there, because it’s easy to... More

Best place is to be by the water which is all the way to the end of the campground. I believe they call it campground 4. We stayed in campground 1. No sewer but there is a drain and place to fill your freshwater tanks as you come in. Bathrooms/showers are nice. Almost all sites are wooded. Deer just strolling... More
