Always a treat and sorry to hear they are closing their Joplin and Joplin area stores and moving everything into their Springfield store. The lines on February 14th were always long but worth the wait. We wish you well and you will be missed.

Local store that has everything from basic chocolates to varied fudges and the caramel covered apples are pieces of art work.

He brought me home a bad of Euro Chocolate (Dark) Truffles that were totally awesome! A little pricey, but worth it. And in late winter/early spring...you can't beat the chocolate covered srtawberries!

If you like chocolate, this place offers the best chocolate in the area. The Engish toffee and the sea-salt caramels are my absolute favorite. The caramel popcorn, caramel apples, and the chocolate-covered pretzels are fabulous. Sometimes on Fridays, they have a free offer, so if you spend $5 you get a half pound of fudge for free. I love getting... More

If you like fresh made candy, this is the place to visit. The only problem is deciding what to get. I got toffee and it was delicious.

Candy house chocolates are delicious. Having been in business since 1970 they know their chocolates. They have a large variety of milk, dark and specialty candies. Their English toffee is to die for. They ship anywhere. I've been to several weddings where truffles were at the reception or had individual mini candy bars at the guest seats for the dinner.... More

Important to check times of tours before going. We were here too late but managed to get some wonderful nut caramel corn($1dollar off a package in Oct) and English toffee. Friendly staff handed me a sample of toffee which made it a sure buy. Marcydiner tantrum scale of 5/5-no screaming kids.

The Candy House offers kids' events throughout the year. We went for 4th of July and my son and nephew loved dipping their rice krispy treats and decorating them.

I've grown up with local candies from Laura Main's in Galena, KS to Richardson's in Joplin. It's always fun to go in and get a free sample, watch the employees making the actual candy, and of course buy my favorites. You simply cannot go wrong buying anything chocolate there, but I also love the fruit slices and the licorice carmel... More
