We have visited the Missouri State Capitol several times over the eyars. Always enjoy seeing the exhibits in Capitol and the grounds of the Capitol. There are nice historical exhibits and momentos in the Capitol.

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Kelly! She gave an interesting and informative history of the Capitol. I especially enjoyed the room with the Thomas Hart Benton mural. Kelly was engaging with both children and adults. Your was free!

We conducted a self tour of the State Capitol. Great exhibits for 6 children and four adults. Everyone enjoyed the visit and pictures. Not over crowded. We were hoping the House and Senate Chamber gallery's were open for visitors.

Four of us took this tour on a Saturday morning and had a great experience. Our guide, Kelly, was knowledgeable and very personable and she was very attentive to the kids on the tour. The Capitol is a beautiful building with some wonderful artwork. The Thomas Hart Benton mural was a highlight. Don't miss the museum on the main floor.... More

We had received a good recommendation so we chose Fairfield Inn for our recent visit to Jefferson City. This is a pretty nice Fairfield. It is near Capitol City Mall but close to downtown. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Our only complaint was that our wake-up call was never received. Fortunately I woke up without it. I would... More

Wonderful free tour of the interior. Has nice exhibit and museum. Located downtown, but Jefferson City is a very small town, in comparison to other state capitals, and very easy to get around. Easy parking near by. After your tour, head across the street to Arris' Pizza. If you love old fashion homemade ice cream, then go to Central Dairy.

Did not get to take tour- but the building and surrounding area are very nice. Even though it is downtown- the area is very quiet and feels safe.

Lovely domed Capitol built in 1917 with Ceres the Goddess of Agriculture poised atop the dome. The dome can be seen all over the small capital city. It is set in lovely grounds, and it is worth while to see both the north and south sides to see the friezes and statues, including the large one of Thomas Jefferson on... More
