Open access to one of the best kept state buildings in the country. You get a chance to view beautiful paintings and some great outdoor artwork - such as the Lewis and Clark exhibit. Also offers some great photo opportunities.

The grounds around the capital are beautiful, the fountains etc. Great for photos. The governors garden is close by and is full of flowers. Also the governors mansion is a block away.

There are some ongoing renovations going on, but it shouldn't spoil the experience. Very pretty in the spring.

The Missouri State Capitol is one of the most beautiful in the United States. The capitol is adorned with numerous paintings and also has an area honoring Missourians in the Hall of Fame. I have traveled all around the country and have toured many Capitols. In my opinion Missouri's Capitol is the best kept and prettiest in the USA.

I take my kids here about once every 5 or 6 years. The museum is constantly changing. Every time I go, I'm reminded how impressive the Capitol building really is. I drive by it every day so you tend to just see it in the background but exploring the grounds, fountains and museums on the main floor is a nice... More
