We went as part of a group with children ranging in age from five to fifteen and everyone had a great time! We traveled round on the 'bus' , got mugged by camels and ostriches, fed all sorts of animals including lions, petted giant lizards, cuddled puppies, laughed at monkeys, ducked macaws and lots more! We booked ahead and negotiated... More

My 5 year old grand daughter's favourite animal is Zebra's , she loved the fact she could actually touch one and also feed a lion ( through a cage with tongs) The safari bus was really good as they supply you with a cup of food to feed the emus and osteriches. The magpies in cages did make me wonder... More

We went to this with fairly low expectations and concern over the cost, but were quite pleasantly surprised, whilst it is not cheap the experience was worth it. There is no doubt there is more work to be done here and I am led to believe there is expansion coming. Plenty of animals to see and the safari bus is... More

We all really enjoyed the feeding of the emus and osritches, patting the zebras and camels. The tassy devils, monkeys, birds, merecats lions etc were great too. The rest of the animals could be found on a farm or in the bush. We had a fun few hours, but they really need to review the price, as it cost $100... More

I think this is a wonderful place for all ages. We went there to kill our last day in Hobart before our flight home, and i am glad i did. It was a bit muddy as it was a miserable day but that added to the fun of it. We first went on a safari bus to feed some of... More

I visited this zoo with my husband and two boys aged 3 and 5 years on Saturday 5th July. We have been to many zoos on the mainland and in Tasmania and really enjoyed this zoo, above all others. As at this zoo, you get to have more contact with the animals. We were able to pat a Zebra and... More

Went here to do the white lion cub experience and it was so ridiculously priced that we ended up not doing it. The animals on the whole were pretty boring down to them having magpies in a cage like they are not birds you see on the street every day! Staff weren't that friendly and didn't give us all the... The zoo was very expensive. The white lion experience was far too expensive and we weren't told the price until after we signed up for it. Anyone who lives on farm would have seen most of the animals in their own backyard. There is the option to feed pallets to some of the animals but that is another cost on... More

I brought my family and friends to Zoodoo with mixed feelings, having read some of the negative reviews in Tripadvisor. I did notice that most of the negative reviews were valid, especially the part where some reviewers mentioned the lack of shelter for the animals, specifically those out in the field. Some of the cages were relatively small such as... More
