I think this is a wonderful place for all ages. We went there to kill our last day in Hobart before our flight home, and i am glad i did. It was a bit muddy as it was a miserable day but that added to the fun of it. We first went on a safari bus to feed some of... More

I visited this zoo with my husband and two boys aged 3 and 5 years on Saturday 5th July. We have been to many zoos on the mainland and in Tasmania and really enjoyed this zoo, above all others. As at this zoo, you get to have more contact with the animals. We were able to pat a Zebra and... More

Went here to do the white lion cub experience and it was so ridiculously priced that we ended up not doing it. The animals on the whole were pretty boring down to them having magpies in a cage like they are not birds you see on the street every day! Staff weren't that friendly and didn't give us all the... The zoo was very expensive. The white lion experience was far too expensive and we weren't told the price until after we signed up for it. Anyone who lives on farm would have seen most of the animals in their own backyard. There is the option to feed pallets to some of the animals but that is another cost on... More

I brought my family and friends to Zoodoo with mixed feelings, having read some of the negative reviews in Tripadvisor. I did notice that most of the negative reviews were valid, especially the part where some reviewers mentioned the lack of shelter for the animals, specifically those out in the field. Some of the cages were relatively small such as... More

Great little zoo in the middle of no where! Lions, one tiger, a few monkeys, Tassie devils, camels, llamas, wallabies, wombats etc etc... all the animals looked healthy and well looked after. We jumped on the truck to go up the back and feed the emus and camels / llamas. Our visit was a fun three hours altogether. We listened... More

Coming from a animal industry/zoo keeper background and currently a wildlife carer, I visited ZooDoo and was appauled...I had heard it was bad and before passing judgement wanted to see for myself. What I was greeted with was one of THE MOST disgusting places...absolutely filthy enclosures, old food and poo everywhere, sick and injured animals, litter all over the place... More

Visited ZooDoo again yesterday. This is my 4 year old granddaughters favourite day out. She loves seeing the animals but especially enjoys that she can touch so many of them. She is first in line to feed the lions and pat the huge lizard. In the animal nursery she can get into the pens with the bunnies. A quick stop... More

At this place, I had one of the best moments in all my life. All staff are so gracious and most important all animals are so sweet! I really enjoyed my time at zoodoo.

This place is in a dry part of the state and the ground was barren when we visited in late April with many empty water bowls. There are very few trees for the "free range" animals to shelter under from the harsh Tasmanian sun, and it all starts and ends with the typical gift shop. Admission is not cheap for... More
