We welcome you to taste our beautiful cool climate wine at our friendly cellar door, which is open from 10 - 5 daily. Whilst here you will probably meet Polly our wine dog, or Lucky or cellar door duck. Feel free to have a "Reverse BYO" (you supply the picnic food and we supply the beverages) to enjoy while in the area. « less

Being a heavily oaked Chardonnay fan I have struggled to find one in the new leaner style that has satisfied my palate. Darren at Puddleduck has managed to produce a beautifully balanced Chardonnay that has the punch I have been missing. Taking it back to Perth with me to enjoy with friends. Thank you Puddleduck!

What a superb place! The wines are delicious - the Verjuice was a real eye-opener - the staff friendly & knowledgeable & all set in beautiful surroundings complete with friendly ducks; what more could one ask?

So glad to hear you liked your visit to Puddleduck - thank you so much for sharing! The verjuice happened quite by accident but as it is made from quality fruit it tastes beautiful too. I love it poured over ice and topped up with soda with a wedge of lime or mint. Maggie Beer (the queen of verjuice) has... More

Lovely range of wines and ciders, $10 tasting fee but you get that back if you spend $100 (I think). The verjuice is great too. Knowledgeable staff and nice spot.

Thanks for taking the time to rate our vineyard - yes you are right re the tasting fee - we also have a few other options such as tasting just a few wines or ciders at the bar for $5 or a sit down tasting with cheese for $20. Hope to see you next time you are in the area... More

A great spot to stop and try some wines and ciders. The staff were amazingly friendly and informative and the tasting was well worth it. Definitely worth stopping in here if you get a chance.

By fluke we popped in here after doing a quick tasting at Frog-more. What a delightful little cellar door with the tastiest pinot noir and sparkling wine I've had in a long time. We were greeted by the friendly owners who take the time to explain the process of making wines in a simple and enthralling way. Only bad thing....should... More

Very friendly welcome from the Browns - god knows how many times they've had to go through the talk on all the wines but their enthusiasm remains true and genuine. The fizz and the Pinot noir were my favourites. Not cheap though. Very pleasant to sit outside on the verandah by the lake, even if was a bit chilly mid... More

We were driving to Richmond but wanted to stop off at a winery along the wine and chose this one. Unfortunately on that day they had a private function and there were so many people everywhere, we couldn't even do the wine tasting properly. We loved the view, the lake, the ducks, my daughter loved Lucky the duck!! But for... More

Would have spent a day in this little nice winery if we had brought some food ourselves for picnic. Nice view, nice lake and very playful Polly (if she likes you of course LOL) & lots of duckies too and of course nice wine. Was on our way back to Hobart so was thinking only had a drink to relax... This amazing little winery is a must see in Tasmania!! We were immediately welcomed as if we were part of the family! The wine was amazing and complimented the local cheeses and relish perfectly! The entire experience was delightful and would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Tassie!!

I'm so pleased that you enjoyed our sit down wine tasting - it is a lovely way to enjoy the wines. We are pleased to hear you felt like one of the family - this is exactly how we want you to feel! We are going do some renovations this winter so that no matter what the weather is doing... More
