We welcome you to taste our beautiful cool climate wine at our friendly cellar door, which is open from 10 - 5 daily. Whilst here you will probably meet Polly our wine dog, or Lucky or cellar door duck. Feel free to have a "Reverse BYO" (you supply the picnic food and we supply the beverages) to enjoy while in the area. « less

A great spot to stop and try some wines and ciders. The staff were amazingly friendly and informative and the tasting was well worth it. Definitely worth stopping in here if you get a chance.

By fluke we popped in here after doing a quick tasting at Frog-more. What a delightful little cellar door with the tastiest pinot noir and sparkling wine I've had in a long time. We were greeted by the friendly owners who take the time to explain the process of making wines in a simple and enthralling way. Only bad thing....should... More

Very friendly welcome from the Browns - god knows how many times they've had to go through the talk on all the wines but their enthusiasm remains true and genuine. The fizz and the Pinot noir were my favourites. Not cheap though. Very pleasant to sit outside on the verandah by the lake, even if was a bit chilly mid... More

We were driving to Richmond but wanted to stop off at a winery along the wine and chose this one. Unfortunately on that day they had a private function and there were so many people everywhere, we couldn't even do the wine tasting properly. We loved the view, the lake, the ducks, my daughter loved Lucky the duck!! But for... More

Would have spent a day in this little nice winery if we had brought some food ourselves for picnic. Nice view, nice lake and very playful Polly (if she likes you of course LOL) & lots of duckies too and of course nice wine. Was on our way back to Hobart so was thinking only had a drink to relax... This amazing little winery is a must see in Tasmania!! We were immediately welcomed as if we were part of the family! The wine was amazing and complimented the local cheeses and relish perfectly! The entire experience was delightful and would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Tassie!!

I'm so pleased that you enjoyed our sit down wine tasting - it is a lovely way to enjoy the wines. We are pleased to hear you felt like one of the family - this is exactly how we want you to feel! We are going do some renovations this winter so that no matter what the weather is doing... More

A lovely little winery in Richmond. The tasting notes on the Chardonnay say it all: "A deliciously delicate chardonnay with a nose of sweet spice, stone fruits and vanilla. This wine was given kid glove treatment with whole bunch pressing, the use of new French oak barriques, barrel stirring and time on lees (just over six months)"

Visited this vineyard on a tour and really enjoyed the time we spent here. Had a very informative chat with the owner and tried some very tasty wines. It's a very pretty spot, would be a nice venue for a lunch.

A brief but pleasant visit. Wines were lovely and the reception was warm and hospitable. Would love to return and spend more time enjoying the lake and ducks.

We loved our wine-tasting here even though it was a miserable day with lots of rain. Sat outside with "Lucky" the duck and his mate who tried to get into the Cafe several times while we were enjoying our picnic basket (it`s reverse BYO here). So funny! Now the wines were seriously the best we tasted in Tasmania! The Riesling... More
