Puddleduck Vineyard is a small family Tasmanian Vineyard owned by Darren and Jackie Brown. We welcome you to taste our beautiful cool climate wine at our friendly cellar door, which is open from 10 - 5 daily. Whilst here you will probably meet Polly our wine dog, or Lucky or cellar door duck. Feel free to have a "Reverse BYO" (you supply the picnic food and we supply the beverages) to enjoy while in the area.

Randomly chose this vineyard as the firsts one to visit because of the name but it turned out to be an inspired choice. The proprietors were charming and attentive, the tasting set up was great, the wines excellent and the setting was lovely. There's a reverse BYO option (where you bring the picnic and they provide the wine - no... More

We called in as it was recommended by friends for the cards they sold. It is BYO food which is novel although they do offer a small cheese plate if you sample wine. It was great for families and a play area. It felt like the place was built for the future expansion of this great family run business. The... More

My family and I recently went to puddleduck for a gathering with other family and friends. We found the experience really good. The scenery was stunning and it was really peaceful and quiet and overall I would definitely be going back again.

This place has a really nice vibe and the service is really good. They serve a beautiful selection of cheeses, relishes, olives and bread to have with the wine tasting. This was also excellent. Accessibility is good and there is easy parking. It is about 20 minutes form the airport in Hobart and then historical Richmond is a further 5... More

Thank you Vanessa for your review of Puddleduck - we appreciate it when people take the time from their busy day to do so. I just thought I had better make a comment about our food offerings so as not to disappoint other visitors. We do offer a beautiful Tasmanian cheese platter but at this stage it is served with... Puddleduck was such a fun and relaxed wine tasting experience! The vineyard is family friendly but also fun for three of us girlfriends in our mid-twenties traveling around. There is a beautiful porch outside by a pond where we could sit and watch the little ducks playing. The wine was amazing and the whole feel of the place was authentic... More

We stopped here on a whim because of the great graphic used as the wineries emblem. You can't tell from the road, but an unassuming entry opens up onto a beautiful grassed picnic area around a well-maintained dam. Bring a picnic and relax with a few 'duck' wines - you can't miss the duck-laden gift shop either.

Had a great tasting at puddleduck. Heaps better than I thought. Their "bubbleduck" was delicious and their staff were very infomative and passionate about their wine. Definitely worth a visit.

They are passionate about their wine, their ducks, dogs and lifestyle. This small business seems happy with where they are and what they are doing; making good wine and creating a fun tasting experience. The lakeside terrace looks over the vineyard and the gift shop is both quirky and useful - there is a duck theme!

We stopped in for a tasting and found the staff very friendly and it has a good outdoor kids area. We purchased some of their lovely wine and also items from the little gift store. Wish we would have taken a picnic so we could have enjoyed it for longer!
