Puddleduck Vineyard is a small family Tasmanian Vineyard owned by Darren and Jackie Brown. We welcome you to taste our beautiful cool climate wine at our friendly cellar door, which is open from 10 - 5 daily. Whilst here you will probably meet Polly our wine dog, or Lucky or cellar door duck. Feel free to have a "Reverse BYO" (you supply the picnic food and we supply the beverages) to enjoy while in the area.

My friend and I stopped in here for a quick look after lunch, we were pleasantly surprised by the visit. It was such a lovely quiet refreshing venue and the lady who gave us the tasting was obviously enthusiastic about the wines produced there. She was knowledgeable and gave us some great information about wine in the region and their... More

Not a large selection of wines but well made and you can BYO food to sit by the lake and watch the ducks whilst you sip some good quality wines. Friendly family run business who are making a great go of it

I had the $5.00 taste of 4 wines. This was refunded as I purchased a bottle of the Pinot Noir. $30.00 per bottle for the Riesling and $46.00 for the 2014 Pinot Noir. No discount for a case. The winery does reverse BYO.....you bring the food and they supply the wine. Coffee etc also available for purchase. We did not... More

We did a wine and cheese tasting here and absolutely loved it. This is not the first time we have been, but this time the new reception and tasting centre has been opened. This is a lovely building, with a huge deck over the duck pond and a gift shop. You get a taste of 4 wines, including the famous... More

A little gem, the lady that served us was very passionate and helpful, all the wines were delicious and helpful and felt more compelled to purchase as the wines aren't available back home or in Dan murphies so felt about more exclusive. As the name suggests it has a backdrop of a pond with hundreds of ducks. On the way... More

Though the name sounds attractive that's about all I want to say that's worthwhile about this place. So it costs $5 a head to to have a miniscule taste of four expensive wines $40 to $50 or so each - unless you want a "cheese platter" which for two costs $50 - again with a wine tasting. Our "tastings" consisted... More

Hi Richo, Thanks for taking the time to provide feedback. Just to clarify a few points you made, we have 3 different tasting options available. The $5 bar tasting option that you chose to do, is a taste of our 4 current wines and is waived if wine is purchased to take with you (per person) had you purchased two... More

Brilliant! What a beautiful boutique winery. Enjoyed the wine tasting $5 per head which was taken off the cost if a bottle was purchased. Service was simply outstanding and facilities including grounds, gardens and restrooms were wonderful. Hosts were on hand to answer any questions and provide recommendations. I would definitely make this a stop travelling to or from Richmond... More
