Description: Puddleduck Vineyard is a small family Tasmanian Vineyard owned by Darren...
Puddleduck Vineyard is a small family Tasmanian Vineyard owned by Darren and Jackie Brown. We welcome you to taste our beautiful cool climate wine at our friendly cellar door, which is open from 10 - 5 daily. Whilst here you will probably meet Polly our wine dog, or Lucky or cellar door duck. Feel free to have a "Reverse BYO" (you supply the picnic food and we supply the beverages) to enjoy while in the area.

Loved the wine tatsting and cheeses offered, and that you can take your own picnic for outside areas if you wish. You need to purchase their wines beers, ciders and non alcoholic drinks. A great idea with their sign Reverse BYO. Building is beautiful and very picturesque with the lake and children's play area. Would recommend a visit. Great family... More

Spent the morning travelling around Hobart on a wine tasting experience, and popped into this gorgeous vineyard. Service from the owner was absolutely fantastic, scenery of the vineyard and pond were beautiful and wines that we sampled tasted gorgeous. Now that we are home in Scotland we keep looking for these wines and would highly recommend visiting here.

We experienced the cheese platter and wine tasting and it was delightful but the grounds are so family friendly and I can see a family picnic in the summer months. Very friendly staff.

Very impressed by the facility and the wines esp. Chardonnay. Owner has personality, guts, passion and talent! Big call to only sell your wines on site - bravo!

Stunning place! Gorgeous wines with a passionate owner making you feel welcome and cared for. Reverse BYO advertised - bring your own food and they supply the excellent wine, a deck over the duck pond to consume all and a blanket if your legs are getting a little chilly in the winter sunshine. The corgi is also feature of this... More

Such fun. Wish we'd taken the opportunity to use their reverse byo- where you bring your food and drink their wine... But got a crate sent home:)

What an amazing find! Nick and Darren and of course Lucky and the dog made this visit an amazing experience. Nick was very knowledgeable and took us through our wine / cider tasting with extreme education, guidance and fun! It is a memory of our whole trip that puts a smile on our face. Thankyou!

I absolutely loved my afternoon at Puddleduck. We visited en route to Freycinet from Hobart. We packed up a little picnic to bring and eat on site while we sampled the cider. We were very impressed. The staff were beyond welcoming and made us feel incredibly comfortable from the moment we arrived. It is a beautiful spot and I also... More

We stopped in for a tasting and were captured by not only the beautiful wine but also the amazing people who run Puddleduck - they are passionate about what they do and we wish them continued success.

Great wine and a lovely spot to drink it. Especially on a sunny day you'll enjoy sitting at the lake watching the ducks with some nice wine and cheese and the great people who run it. A definite recommendation :)
