Puddleduck Vineyard is a small family Tasmanian Vineyard owned by Darren and Jackie Brown. We welcome you to taste our beautiful cool climate wine at our friendly cellar door, which is open from 10 - 5 daily. Whilst here you will probably meet Polly our wine dog, or Lucky or cellar door duck. Feel free to have a "Reverse BYO" (you supply the picnic food and we supply the beverages) to enjoy while in the area.

I absolutely loved my afternoon at Puddleduck. We visited en route to Freycinet from Hobart. We packed up a little picnic to bring and eat on site while we sampled the cider. We were very impressed. The staff were beyond welcoming and made us feel incredibly comfortable from the moment we arrived. It is a beautiful spot and I also... More

We stopped in for a tasting and were captured by not only the beautiful wine but also the amazing people who run Puddleduck - they are passionate about what they do and we wish them continued success.

Great wine and a lovely spot to drink it. Especially on a sunny day you'll enjoy sitting at the lake watching the ducks with some nice wine and cheese and the great people who run it. A definite recommendation :)

I love a decent wine tasting but this is up there with the best! The whole team were welcoming, the cheese and wine tasting was great - the ability sit and ask questions about the process, the requirements for each of the varietals and the origins of not only the wine but also the cheese was invaluable! Great scenery with... More

Beautifully set on a man made lake, surrounded by colourful vineyards. Many ducks and pea fowls for the children to watch when not playing on the bright and modern play equipment.plenty of outdoor tables and chairs as well as a warm and inviting cellar door. Beautiful wines on offer as well as cheese platters. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. We... More

Went here as part of a wine tour and will be back again- the guy that served us was fantastic, really friendly and really knowledgeable about the local area and its wine! Highly recommend the bubbleduck and ciders!

What a place. Sitting in the sun eating local cheese, drinking the family made wine and looking out onto the vineyards and a big duck pond. You could easily spend half a day here if you brought a picnic with you. Great wines, good selections of ciders and other drinks if needed. Owners are lovely. Good times

Honestly one of the friendliest wineries we have ever visited (and we have been to a far few...). The moment we were entered we were greeted with a warm smile and even warmer newly renovated cellar door. After a delicious tasting we headed out to the deck, blankets in hand, to watch the ducks, admire the epic view, eat our... More

We have a extremely enjoyable deluxe and welcoming cheese tasting experience at Puddleduck. ...only problem is perhaps we bought too much wine for our budget! And all too easy, as wine was all shipped back home.

We were met at the door by Darren & Jackie, then subsequently introduced to their son, nephew and Polly the dog. Never got introduced to the duck as she was currently not around 😀 Everyone was so friendly and made us feel very welcome. We tried the cheese platter and wine tasting at $25 per head. Four wines in total,... More
