Suzdal has to be the hight spot of any trip round Russia's Golden Ring
The 13th century Cathedral and the kremlin(castle) buildings have been well restored in such a way as to retain the timeless atmosphere of this amazing country.
We visited on a crisp autumn day when the leaves were in fall and wandered over to the nearby building...
