Adam Puchta Winery, located off Hwy. 100 on the banks of Frene Creek about 2.5 miles southwest of Hermann, is the oldest family farm winery in Missouri. Its true uniqueness, however, lies in the fact that the same family has continuously owned it since 1855. We are a true farm winery with a peaceful, laidback setting. Many cats live here, and the property has picnic tables on a lovely shaded hillside so you can sit, visit and relax.Tastings are done in a cool old barn where we pair wine with food for a truly enhanced experience.

Very nice winery with great friendly staff

I don't like that I have to pay for the tasting, however, the way that the staff entertain you, makes up for it.

This is one of our favorite wineries. You will pay for a tasting here. There are wines here for all tastes - sweet to dry - with many to choose from. The location is a good stop for a picnic lunch and the purchasing of a tasty bottle of wine to accompany it. Enjoy!

This was our first stop in a two day winery trip.... And was our favorite!!!! The gentleman assisting us with our tasting was very knowledgeable and funny! I am a very picky wine drinker....that being said... We found several wines we REALLY loved! We even tried a Honey wine!!! Yummy!!! Our daughter is getting married later this year... She tried... This was enjoyable. Our group of 9 had an excellent wine server in Cindy. She was very nice and answered all the questions we had. I left the winery with a very nice bottle of Port. To bad it wasn't warmer so we could enjoy the grounds.

This is my personal favorite of the wineries in Hermann. The tastings aren't free, but so worth the little cost. Every wine can stand on its own, but the pairings they treat you to take it to the next level. Host was knowledgeable and entertaining. It was just so much fun. You have to make time for this while you're... More

We were staying for a long weekend at Hermann Hill, and saw some very positive reviews on their website for this winery. We really weren't expecting much from Missouri wines, but this was a very pleasant surprise. We have been to wineries in Australia, California, Oregon, Arizona and a few other states in the US known for wines, and this... More

This little winery is a little off the beaten path in Herman Mo.. A converted farm it does not have the same wonderful Venue as some of the other local wineries, but what it lacks in overall ambiance it makes up for in taste and customer service. It has a lot of my favorite wines in he Herman area, and... More

This is the oldest consecutively owned family winery in the US! I loved the feel of this winery, the knowledge and friendliness of the staff, and of course the wine! Their Port wine won Gold in Missouri, and the entire Midwest, and it is decadent! Lovely gift shop, nice discounts, and sweet kittys roaming the property just begging for some... More

Great friendly atmosphere. Lynn at the tasting bar was very pleasant and informative. Loved the pairing samples. The shopping experience was also delightful. We left with a number of wines for holiday presents.
