Sure, it's just a statue, yet it does a great job representing two of the most beloved characters from Mark Twain's incredible books. It's just a few feet from the interpretive center, hence it's worth stopping by for a quick photo.

The Tom and Huck statue is the beginning of a great little part of town that everyone should experience. This statue showcases the entrance to a set of 244 stairs that take you all the way up to the Cardiff Hill Lighthouse which overlooks the Mississippi River. On the way up, a great view down Main Street of the Historic... More

The statue is located at the intersection of North Main and North Streets. It is a beautiful photo opportunity. Immediately to the et of the statue is a flight of stairs that go up to the old bridge lookout and continues on up to the old lighthouse. The statue itself is really a work of art.

I didn't know you can rate statues. Anyway, it is nicely located on a hill overlooking the main street of Hannibal. Its proximity to the historic area and museum make it very convenient. We got a couple of nice shots of our son in front of it holding a paint brush and we were on our way. Good for the... More

The statue eluded for some reason. When we finally located it (which was pretty much out in the open! Go figure!) there wasn't much to it. We saw it and that was that.

The statue of Tom & Huck is at the bottom of Cardiff Hill, overlooking Main Street. I visited at the end of April and the hill had many lilac bushes in bloom, which was beautiful. A path starts by the statue that leads to the lighthouse at the top of Cardiff Hill.

Cool statue and great view of the river. Worth the walk up to see it. Don't miss it when in Hannibal.

It was okay. Nothing special. You walk over to it and take a picture and that is about it. I think it is okay to climb up to it since it is next to the steps going up to the lighthouse.
