Before you leave the Mark Twain house lot, walk down the street a few steps and see the Tom and Huck statue.

I am not a huge art fan but teh statue is pretty cool to look at. We have a picture of us in front of the statue which is really it's main purpose.

These old buddies are keeping an eye on downtown Hannibal, and it's about half-a-block from where Huck had his miserable life until he lit out for adventures with old buddy Tom, and then his memorable River trip with Jim. Nice photo op.

I See this statue every time I drive through historic downtown Hannibal. A very nice memorial to Samuel Clemmon's famous writings of Tom & Huck.

Certainly don't schedule time to visit the statue. There it is, atop a small hill at the end of the street. 'Nuf said.

If you read Tom Sawyer with your kids you'll know that Tom and Huck had many adventures on Cardiff Hill and that's where you'll find the statue. It's practically next door to Mark Twain's childhood home and also Huck Finn's home (based on a real boy Twain grew up with). The statue is a great photo op. I wonder how... More

This statue is free to view. It sits at the base of a hill with a challenging climb of stairs away from a lighthouse (you can drive to the lighthouse without all the climbing). Across the street is the twain home and museum. You can also walk to the riverfront and see the samuel clemens statue pictured and the riverboat.... More

The statue sits at the base of a hill and is overlooked by the Lighthouse. It is also near Mark Twain's boyhood home so it makes sense to stop by and snap a quick photo.

It's a nice statue found at the north end of the old Main Street. The landscaping around it was very nice, but other than that, there isn't much else to say - see the pictures, and you'll get the idea.

Yes, this is a statue. It was shinny, and a pleasant view. See above *
