It was like walking into history unfolding before our eyes. Were spellbound with the woodwork inside the mansion dating back to the eighteenth century. The musuem houses the original antiques and furniture kept in pristine conditions. The stained glass windows are spectacular. One can spend a few hours just reading and going from room to room of the building overlooking... More

Rockcliff Mansion is so beautiful! My husband and I went on the tour and it was awesome! Not only is this house absolutely breathtaking, but the history behind it is fascinating. This mansion built in 1901 is precariously perched on a cliff, hence the name, and as soon as you pull up you can feel the old world charm start... More

Our stay could not have been better. It is a beautiful and fascinating place. The tour was very interesting. The guide, Mary, has a long personal history with the site and was much more interesting than the usual bored, college student guide with a memorized spiel. Our host was an enjoyable conversationalist. The area has many great things to do... More

Amazing mansion in the most unexpected place. The interior and furnishings are incredible. My wife and I had our own personal tour since we were there on a Monday in March. The grounds need a little work, otherwise this would be a five star review.

The home was beyond amazing. The architecture was beautiful as well as the fact that the current owner is trying to keep the house as original as possible. The place is also a Bed and Breakfast but which would be amazing to stay in. It was well worth the cost to see it.

Took the tour with Juan, the owner. The Victorian period at its finest is present everywhere you turn. Breathtaking interior and furnishings of the period are well taken care of here. Thanks for a true look back in time and history!

I love to visit historical homes across the country. Especially ones that have been saved after neglect. The owner, Juan was my guide for my personal tour of Rockcliffe and gave me an opportunity to view the beautiful rooms and objects at a leisurely pace. His passion for what he had accomplished and what he hoped to continue was inspiring.... More
