A shut-in more similar to a waterfall with a pool at the bottom.

This was a great way to end a very nice trip to the Eminence area.I had never been to this falls before.it's real pretty during fall. We got some great pictures and it's very relaxing and peaceful. Lots of climbing around and hiking, just a beautiful place off the beaten path. I thought and the rest of my gang thought... More

Our visit was early in the fall, with colors just beginning to change. Water flow was restricted to basically one channel, down one side of he rocks. However, it made climbing out on the rocks, around the water much easier. In the spring, when water volume is greater, it would cover a much larger area. You gotta believe this is... More

Lovely place to go with the family! Beautiful views with the falls. Water is really cold but perfect for a hot day!

This is one of our favorite places. There are beautiful falls with a pool of water to swim. Day use only. They have picnic areas with grills and restrooms. We almost had the place to ourselves. One complaint the torrential onslaught of huge horse flies.

I imagine later in the late summer when the flow is less it might not be so special but in June of 2015 the falls were spectacular. It takes some driving to get there and I imaging it could get crowded on weekends. Lots of places where you could sit under a fall and let the water play over you.... More

I happened on this place at 8 in the morning on a Sunday. I think it was the right time to see this gem of the Ozarks. I was alone, scrambling on the rocks and soaking my feet in the falls. I'm totally in love and can't wait to return with my family this weekend, to share this beauty. I'm... More

Worth seeing, especially after a good rain when there is lots of water. the red rhyolite rocks are especially beautiful.

The water tumbling over the rock outcrop is indeed spectacular, and the whole scene is genuinely pretty as the water runs away along the brook between the trees would make this an idyllic spot. On the midweek day when we stopped it was really full of people, and I can only imagine how crowded it becoems on a weekend.

There were torrential downpours the day before so the falls were completely flooded. We still climbed to the top via the walking trail and stood in awe at Mother Nature's power. Would like to revisit during normal river flow.

Enjoy the view, the water, the rocks, all at no charge! Climb to the top for a breath taking view of the valley. Slide down the rocks, very carefully! Take a dip into the pool at the bottom.
