We have been here before. On July 22nd we went for a motorcycle and decided to stop again and boy I'm glad we did! We have the privilege of meeting the talented Sam Butcher himself! What a great man! Will DEFINITELY be back!

I love to stop at Precious Moments Chapel whenever I travel to Southern Missouri. It's nice to walk through and very interesting to watch the demonstration on how a figurine is made.

Stopped to see the chapel on the way to Kansas City. My friend is a huge collector. We arrived at 4:00 thinking it was open until 8:00. The museum had already closed, but we were able to see the chapel. It is beautiful and definitely worth the stop. The chapel and gift shop are only open to 5:00. The ladies... More

I'm not really a huge fan of Precious Moments, but I had heard about the chapel years ago from my boss and then again recently from one of the maintenance men where I work. I was going to visit the Civil War park at Carthage, but had to change plans thanks to a thunderstorm. I am very glad I took... More

We were in Carthage as a stopover for a long road trip. When I discovered the chapel we decided to drop by and check it out since we were nearby. I'd say a max of 1-2 hours is all you need to visit unless you are a die-hard Precious Moments fan. First portion is the gift shop and cafe area... More

We stopped by with 2 of our grandkids (ages 6 & 9). My husband and I had been here several yrs ago. We didnt plan to ever return because we arent collectors or into the PM dolls or figurines. We thought our grand daughter might enjoy it though. A lot of improvements since we were here last. The grounds are... More

We stopped because my oldest collects PM. It was a nice place to stop and visit on our way through Missouri. The chapel was beautiful, as we're the grounds. Staff all over was nice and friendly and helpful. It was a great place to make a few memories with my daughter's.

We traveled from Branson, our vacation base, to Carthage on Tuesday, June 18th, to visit the chapel, grounds, museum, and gift shop. My mom and dad had been previously and purchased a memorial brick for a grand daughter (my niece) who passed away quite young. My mother collected these figurines throughout my childhood and teen years and I remember them... More

I was touched more than I expected at the artistic expressions of the Bible in the chapel. Be sure to get there for the short tour (at the top of every hour) so you can hear about the details that went into his paintings.

Our entire family loved it here. Very peaceful and the chapel is just breathtaking. I recommend a visit if you are in the area.
