This is very different from any chapel in the UK. The frescos are childlike but very well done. Th guide who took us round was excellent and really knew her subject. The chapel was not to my taste but one has to admire the sentiment and the talent of its creator.

Entry is free although there is a book store and small café to spend some money if you like. The small chapel is a work of love and is very respectfully done with Precious Moments characters showing scenes from the bible. A room is also set aside for those that have died with hand written/typed tributes along with pictures. Make... More

We visiting this park while on a trip to Branson with our six children (age 5-15). It was INCREDIBLE. I have always liked precious moments pictures (they were becoming popular when I was a kid), but I was not ready for how breathtakingly beautiful this place would be. The church is amazing, and the stories you read as you explore... More

I have visited the Precious Moments Chapel three times over the years. I have never been a collector of the figurines but the story of Mr Butcher and his art and vision is worth the trip. I always find his interpretation of the bible so beautiful. The art in the Chapel is absolutely inspiring. I found it very moving this... More

This was a great place for the kids to stretch their legs. The weather was sunny so everyone enjoyed walking the grounds and looking at all the statues. The chapel is a great work of art. The gift shop, of course, isn't the most kid friendly because there are hundreds of figurines, but the rest of the place wasn't bad.... More

A creation of artist Samuel J. Butcher as a gift to God, recognizing the many blessings given by God. The chapel has many scenes depicting the life of Jesus, painted and stained glass. The surrounding area is wonderful also. We loved it again!!!

Wife and I took a slight detour on the way back from Branson. I hadn't read about this but my wife did so I came in unknowing what to expect. Toured the chapel with the guide. She did an excellent job in explaining all the paintings and stain glass windows. Tour was free so you can't beat that and I'm... More

My sister visiting from Las Vegas. Looking for places that might interest those not from the area. As I live only 45 minutes away thought it would be a great short day trip. She (we) were not disappointed in our visit here. Took the tour of the chapel and grounds. Just wondered around enjoying the view from the back of... More

Our group of 50 had a free Chapel Tour to see Sam Butcher's 84 hand-painted tributes to heaven, the 30 stained glass windows, beautiful carved doors, bronze panels and more. Our guide told us stories of those who touched the artist's heart, and they are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year. One can find Precious Moments figurines, dolls, and special... More

Really neat if you like Precious Moment dolls and collectables. We were able to attend a Holiday lighting ceremony at the Chapel which was very nice.
