Stop and feed the animals!

There are a lot of different animals to see and a lot of animals to pet and feed including a tortois pen! Although it seems out of the way its definitely worth the stop.

We found a Groupon for this attraction and was not sure what to expect. There was really no advertising on they way and when we arrived it did appear to be a farm. Please don't let this stray you. From the time we got up to the gate it was a great, interactive time. We had 4 kids, ages 6-11,... More

This park was about 15 mins from the main part of the city and easy to find but you can't use the address in your GPS. It was $7 per person to get in, we bought $10 worth of food which was five bags of pellets and six bird sticks which was plenty. There were lots of animals to feed... More

I visited in mid July and paid with credit card. After ringing up $35 plus tax I asked where I could purchase a drink as my little ones were already asking in this high heat. The girl told me soda machined only. I dont have cash only card I explain. There is a handwashing station by the goats.?!? REALLY....I nearly... More

First, I want to thank you for bringing your family to once again visit our family owned zoo on Sunday, July 19th. Yes, the weather was extremely hot and humid that day and we did discuss water availability at the zoo. However, let me clarify a few things that you noted in your recent review. The admission booth attendant did... More

It was worth the entry feed just to feed the goats and parakeets. The staff was friendly and most of the animals seemed happy. My only complaint is some of the cages seemed a bit small.

We came here during our roadtrip from Memphis to St Louis. So much fun. We love animals and this place had so many we've never seen up close. The best part is that you get to feed most of them. Admission is affordable and feed is too. Probably want to wear covered shoes since you're in the dirt. Very unique... More

The mixed group of adults and children on our tour had a wonderful time at the Safari Park. The hands on experience with the birds, goats, camels and more are something not easily found near the St. Louis area so the trek to Cape Girardeau offered that opportunity. This is NOT a Disneyfied experience, but a true working farm experience.... More

Thank you for visiting the Lazy L Safari Park. I'm glad your bus tour guests enjoyed their visit to our zoo. It looked like everyone was really having a good time feeding the animals. Several guests did decide to ride the camel and I think one guest actually marked "riding a camel" off her bucket list! Again, thanks for visiting... More
