The new Branson Landing area is beautiful. I just don't think its more than a giant mall. The shops are nice but just the regular run of the mill mall places. Chain restraunts are also pretty common. Over the years I've seen Downtown Branson turn into a rundown eyesore. Almost every building was either falling apart, vacant or occupied by a bad vendor. If you like to shop in outdoor malls, then that's what you'll get. We saw the fire & fountain show in lake during day. It was okay, but not worth hanging around for. Perhaps it's better at night. more
