We have been to better hatcheries which is probably why it wasn't as entertaining to my family as it was to others. There are a lot of fish and that's nice, but there wasn't much else to it. Nice building with a tiny aquarium in it. Small kids would love it.

We had some time to kill, so we decided to go to the hatchery and learn something. We were amazed at the size of the place. It was very interesting and made for a fun time.

Two fun experiences feeding the fish and watching them scramble for the food. My son wanted to go back the next day! It was a good education for mom and dad on how the process works. Would recommend taking a cup to hold the fish food. They don't provide them because it used to create litter on the property.

Good time very nice staff. Would have been really cool to get a guided tour but we only walked the property!

With small kids, I have to keep them busy. This was a great way to fill up some time. My small boys would not have sat through the talk, but it sounded very interesting. The boys enjoyed seeing the fish through the glass up close. We adults got more out of the info on the wall than the kids. Bring... More

Great for kids, but fun for all ages as well. There is no fee for this attraction. If you like animals, this place is a must do.

My family enjoyed our quick stop at the Hatchery in Branson. You will start out in the visitors center where they have a large tank with some huge fish. They also have turtles, frogs, spiders and snakes in aquariums. You have the opportunity to learn about all animals native to MO. Pretty cool if you like that kind of thing.... More

So even if you don't have a car-ful of kiddos, this is still alot of fun for adults! It's totally free and you'll just pay a quarter or 2 for some feed for the fish. It's definitely worth your quarters to watch the trout go crazy. They have everything from baby to large full grown trout. You can tell they... More

We go to the hatchery every time we come to town. Great view of the dam from the bottom. We had 7 kids with us ranging in age from 3 to 16. Everyone enjoys getting out of the car and enjoying some outdoor time blocked from most wind on cooler days. When you're done here, there is a visitor center,... More
