We have a 2yr old and he loved looking at all the fish, turtles, and snakes in the building and also highly enjoyed feeding the baby and bigger fish. Great free activity for little ones.

We arrived just in time to join the tour of the hatchery. The guide was very informative, giving information and answering any questions from the group. We spent a couple of quarters and bought fish food. Watching the fish feeding was a highlight of the tour. If you are looking for a way to entertain your kids for an hour... More

We spent about $15.00 in quarters at the free hatchery. :) The kids, 3,5,7 loved feeding the fish and we couldn't get the food fast enough. Interesting and pleasant.

After reading the reviews I took my grandkids here. They are nine and eleven. We took the twenty minute tour. It was a lovely day and perfect for seeing the operation. The sight of looking up at Tablerock Dam is very impressive. As an adult I enjoyed the experience but the kids commented that it was exciting as watching paint... More

The visitor centre is well set up with a variety of creatures but the focus is on trout and raising them for Lake Taneycomo. There is a short film and visitors can walk among the pools of various sized trout and feed them if they wish.

The kids loved seeing the trout and learning about how they are raised and released into the lake. You can take a free tour or explore on your own. If you explore on your own, I recommend watching the short video before taking the tour. Bring quarters and a cup because you can buy fish food and feed them.

Took my two 10 yr Olds and they enjoyed this a lot. They learned about fish, fed them and had a good time outside for about an hour wi th out costing an arm and leg. Just remember to grab a couple disposable cups out of the hotel to put your fish food in. Can't beat this spot for free.

We had a few minutes to stop by after going to the beach, so we did, We really enjoyed this and it was FREE which is hard to find in Branson. It is very educational if you take the tour and my kids enjoyed feeding all the different stages of fish. Don't forget to bring some quarters.

We always stop by to see the fish while we're in Branson. It's pretty interesting to see all of them. Don't forget to bring quarters to feed them.

Grand kids and the guys liked this more than I but feeding the trout was a treat. Learning about the trout was interesting and to find out that the guys can come fish while the ladies shop is just another great reason to love Branson.
