My kids love stopping at the hatchery and feeding the fish. The museum is interesting and best of all its one of the only things Ive found in Branson to do as a family that is free. We would come back to Branson more often if there were more things like this!

Kids will love the stuffed and live animals in the museum, as well as the huge live fish in the aquarium. Rangers give short lectures. Fish food is 25 cents and watch the trout swarm and fight for the food.

Great little place to stop in and see and the best thing of all is, it's FREE! We got to feed the fish and see some really cool fish, spiders, snakes and turtles. My teens even thought it was worth the stop.

The first hatchery we had ever been to. Very interesting and pretty setting. Saw lots of kids there enjoying feeding the fish. Although it's not the kind of place you'd probably want to make return visits to, it's certainly worth the stop and look.

We needed a little cheap entertainment for the kiddos and found this place. No one was disappointed as there was not only fish but turtles, snakes and spiders. Not so great for me, but the kiddos and the guys loved it. There was lots of info and a nice film as well.

If you're in the area, this is a great FREE place to visit. Never imagined we would all enjoy it so much (ages 4, 16, 40's, & 69).

We took a drive out of town and stopped in to visit. The volunteers were very helpful and the indoor exhibits of fish, turtles and snakes were great for kids of all ages to look at. The tanks outside were great to walk through. We watched them move some of the fish into a transport truck to take out to... More

Such an interesting place to visit. We learned so much how the state of Missouri raises these many trout for us to fish. They also had a short film showing all the many steps as the raise the fish. The museum was interesting, as well.

A nice place to take the kids for a learning experience about the fish hatchery and to feed all the fish. It was a lot of fun and it is also free.

Located just below the Table Rock Dam, this hatchery produces all the rainbow trout released into Lake Taneycomo and a few other trout managed lakes. The visitor center has a glass tank displaying very large trout. You can feed the fish in this and any of the holding tanks as well as an outdoor pond. Fish food is available from... More
