An interesting exhibit inside a state facility. Large tanks for growing trout that one can feed from sources provided at the fish hatchery. Fun to watch the employees providing pellets into the tanks at feeding times.

Free Free Free! When you go to branson you could spend a lot of dough. But not here. For a few quarters you can see thousands of fish. Or you can just watch others feed them for free. The Rangers were very nice and the little slide show they show was very informative.

Last minute plan to visit the hatchery and was very pleasantly surprised how educational and interesting that it was. Watched an 8 minute movie about the process, looked at animals/reptiles/fish on site and then toured the hatchery. Very interesting and our 5 kids enjoyed it.

Our family visited the hatchery on Memorial Day morning. The nature center were very interesting and had great staff! We fed the trout, and they were beautiful when they swarmed! There was a great view of the dam where they were releasing a torrent of water because of the heavy rainfall. Lake Taneycomo was flowing very rapidly. Enjoyed our visit.

I always love learning new things so this place was right up my alley! My husband and I just stopped by to kill some time and we were both glad we did. I can't wait to go back and take the grandkids!

This was very interesting to see how the fish are used for reproducing to fill the lakes. The staff was very informative and pleasant to talk to.

Plenty of fish. Wish there was someone to explain the fish to us. Watching the birds go back and forth to the feeding stations was excellent
