We visited Stone Hill seven years ago and made a point of stopping back through. I am pretty sure we had the same tour guide, sorry I can't remember his name. He was very helpful as we are not experts. I love their sweet wine and we came home with several bottles of dry for friends and a bottle of... More

Let me preface this review with the fact that I've been to Hermann where the "real magic" happens. This is simply a tourist destination where they don't make the wine - they just bottle some of it. I was bothered by the industrial flooring in the gift shop area because it wasn't very "winery" friendly. However, the people who work... More

This was an excellent tour and the wine tasting exceeded expectations as they offered many different wines and juices to taste. Del was very knowledgeable and made the tour interesting.

Great way to spend the afternoon! Our tour guide Del was very knowledgeable about the wine they sell at the and answered any questions we had. P.S. you should give him a day off so we could go to Hermann to see how the grapes are grown.

Went and did the wine tour and bought 5 bottles of wine for $11.50 each. We then went to Wal-Mart and saw the same wine for $7.30. This is a pretty big difference! Save your money and buy it somewhere else!

We took this free tour and it was very informative. Del was an excellent tour guide, was funny and pleasant. Lots of free samples. The wines were so good, I bought a case!

Everyone we met was wonderful! From the nice lady greeting us at the door to the friendly gentelmen who did some personal engraving on a few of our wine bottles for upcoming family weddings and anniversarys to the very helpful lady at the checkout who helped us get every discount she could give us and carefully packed everything for the... Very informative and fun to see how wine is produced. Comedy from the tour guide was a little lame, but the guide said it was the wine. She was funny.

Del, was our tour guide, I believe he was the same one we had in May of 2011 as well. He was very friendly, knowledgeable of the history &other wine.
