Nice place to spend an afternoon. Water was awesome and was fun to sit and watch the boats on the lake. Nice little play area for the kids.

The water was very clear. The beach was big enough for all to have space. The sand and gravel was clean. They put gravel on the beach so when you entered the water you were not walking in mud or muck. You could see small fish swim by. There were some shaded pavilions for picnics and escape from the sun.... More

The beach is okay, not great. At the shore, its quite rocky/decent sized pebbles/stones that it almost hurt to walk barefoot. So you are better of going a bit deep. However a few of us developed swimmer's itch rash after swimming in the lake. It was quite severe for some folks. Thus is caused by a schistosomal larvae (cercarial dermatitis)... More

I am a local and love going to Moonshine Beach. Very nice facilities. The gates close at 8 pm which is a little inconvenient but I understand staff has to clean up. The main problem is the 2 men that manage that place go around and start yelling, yes yelling at the patrons to get out of the park at... More

We were camping for the weekend at nearby Table Rock State Park (only a couple of miles away, and drove over to spend the day at the beach. We had heard from others that they close down the entrance once the parking lot is full, so we headed out early. We got there around 10 am and we were able... More

We loved it! Beautiful clear water. Bring swim shoes - the peoples are sharp on the beach! A great way to relax after a hard day at SDC

The beach was nice. It was clean, clear, and had a very nice view. But the things you see on the website are no longer available. For example: it says that you can rent equipment and purchase snacks at the beach. However, the locals told me that after 2013, there is no longer anybody working at the beach. That means... More

Who would've thought a nice sand beach was tucked away in the middle of Branson? A great way to visit Branson at a different pace than go-go-go! We arrived around 11am and it was busy but not full by any means. The gates were still open when we left but I'm sure it depends on the day. Like others said,... More

We come to Branson quite a bit but this is the first time to visit Moonshine Beach. We were not disappointed. It is a great place to take your family and enjoy Table Rock Lake. The facilities are excellent and the water is crystal clear. Awesome Awesome!!
