I would agree with other reviewers, but the the 50 soldier sculpture and the map drawn by the bomber pilot of his 30+ missions are what made an impression. The other 2 museums are near the toy museum, One is devoted to bb guns and the other to weapons and uniforms of the military since the Civil War. I would... More

This museum is outstanding. There is not ONE war for veterans but many to help the veterans and their families remember and honor. The gift shop is available without charge or at the end of your tour. The people are great in providing assistance. When veteran's holidays are near by they become the headquarters for information. I have been often... More

Wonderful display of items from major wars in our history. The listing of the name of each soldier who lost their life in each war was very moving. My husband's brother lost his life in the Vietnam War and we were grateful to be able to view his name and share the picture of it with others. It was an... More

I wasn't sure what to expect but glad I went. The museum takes you through a historical journey from the civil war all the way to the Afghanistan. If you are a military history buff or not it is definitely worth an hour or two of your time to go and visit.

My whole family enjoyed this museum. It contains a lot of memorabilia. Be prepared to read a lot...the exhibits contain a lot of information pertaining to each one. My ten year old enjoyed the museum (he loves war history), but I wouldn't recommend taking small children.

We visited the Veterans Memorial Museum on a Thursday morning. There were quite a few coming and going, children among them. This is a good place for a little history lesson for them. I thought there was quite a bit of interesting information there, some things that I had not know about before. It's definitely worth a stop. One nice... More

This is a nice memorial with the two best things being the soldier sculpture and the war plane outside I found the outer exhibits to be a little wanting

Gives a person the real feel of just how much sacrifice was given. Veterans get a discount. A must see for history buffs....
