We have been to Branson many times and for some reason we have never stopped at this museum. Our granddaughter who recently joined the Airforce was with us and wanted to stop. We are so glad we did. The world's largest war memorial bronze sculpture (over 70 feet long, weighing 15-tons) is the hallmark of the museum and features 50... More

The wall of names really struck me. A man with the same name as my father was listed in the names of the dead from WWII. My father served in Korea, so of course, it was not him, but since we lost my dad in 2003 his loss is still with us. The statues and the names are as fitting... More

This is one of the best veteran's museums I have ever been to. I was truly amazed at some of the pieces they displayed. We spent several hours enjoying the history here. My son had visited before with his grandparents and specially requested we return. I would like to see them add a bit of more recent history but even... More

If you are interested in United States war history this is a great museum. The museum is very reasonably priced and gives a discount to those who have served in the military. It covers the history of wars from World War I thru the Persian Gulf War. The displays are very well done and the explanations are very short and... More

I highly recommend this museum for the whole family. It is extremely moving and covers WWI through the Gulf War. You are especially moved when you enter the WWII room with the 400,000 names of those who lost their lives in that war. The employees are very nice and there is a gift shop that you will enjoy looking through.

This is a great place to spend a couple of hours. It flows well and has many great displays. Made me so proud of the backbone of this country that have kept us free from those that would enslave us. I teared up a few times reading the stories of individuals posted thoughout the museum. All the displays are static... More

This is a truly unique and quite moving museum saluting the Veteran's of WWI to the present. Each war's vets are honored in a different room. The names of all of the deceased are typed on the walls of each room. When you enter the WWII room it is simply overwhelming. When you look at all those names covering every... More

My husband had just returned from a year long deployment to Afghanistan when we visited the museum. I found it to be very interesting and humbling. This museum was just the right size, and you could spend hours reading everything. I would definitely recommend visiting here.

This is an excellent exhibit. And a museum for all to,see what the veterans went through, the equipment they had to use and, What they were up,against. It shows how many died for our freedom and yours. Excellent exhibits and soul touching artifacts and documents. A MUST,SEE. WHILE IN BRANSON.

I am sorry to say that the museum is permanently closed. due to financial difficulties. We were so looking forward to seeing it. My husband and I try to see all the Veterans sights we can when we travel.
