Every one is right. This is a beautiful course in great condition. It is a hard course so play up a tee box. Played with my wife and another couple. We all enjoyed the day but agreed that another set of tees is required for the ladies. Current set is not fair for the average lady golfer.

Played this course 2 times the last week of July. Very challenging and beautiful. Greens were in great shape. A couple of negatives however for a course that charges $100. There were no towels on any of the ball washes and numerous weeds and unkept tee boxes. I would have expected more from this course.

Played here in late July. Very nice course, but very challenging as well. Whatever tees you normally play, move up one. There's tremendous elevation change and lots of trouble of you don't keep it in play. Good value for the money. It did get slow on the back and that would have been a good spot for a marshall.

Beautiful, well-cared-for, interesting course, with the hazards well-placed but manageable. I'm an okay golfer on good days, but still had fun smashing the ball around this course. Do bring extra balls as the rough was more than tall enough to eat them. To be fair, it had rained quite a bit and we were cart-paths-only so this may be why... More

We normally played Murder Rock and loved it but it has closed. Payne Stewart golf club is great. Very challenging, so you might want to play silvers. It is beautiful, every hole. Even has a Payne Steward museum inside that is pretty cool We ended up playing here three times in one week. We can not wait to go back.

This was a wonderfully welled kept course with great scenery. It is a little challenging but it is a great course to go to. The people that worked there were all very nice and helped us get started.

The legend of Payne Steward will live on in the golf course made in his memory. The troon style beautiful course is a tough one. There are several tees to play from, our group chose the orange tees as they were the most forward. Even from the most forward tees getting to the green in par was not easy. We... More

Played this course 3 times last week! The course will challenge golfers of all ability. If you are a scratch golfer, the back tees will push you and test your abilities. If you are a 15-20 handicap golfer, I highly recommend the Combo track that allows you to play up on the longer holes, and back on the silver tees... More

We Tee'd off at 7am. Beautiful day, course layout is really exceptional with varying shots. Will make you use all the clubs in your bag. Staff was friendly. The only small downside was because of the way the course is layed out it does not return to the clubhouse until the 18th hole. The halfway house was closed but there... More

Great golf course. Wet from all the rain this past week but enjoyed the experience. Was a fan of Payne Stewart so wanted to golf at this course while we were in the area.
