Been going to Silver Dollar City for about 32 years...since I was 8. Now I take my three kids. We purchase season passes which are cheaper than two one-day tickets. Theme is 1880's and somewhat educational as well as fun. Park is built on the side of an Ozark mountain - lots of shade trees and some steep (but avoidable)... more

Just returned, and the thing that stands out the most is the rudeness of some of the employees. From tram drivers yelling at people (No kids on the outside! Don't EVEN try it!!) and driving off with empty seats, leaving people standing, to crabby cashiers taking your money for overpriced souveniers, to rude ride operators. One older man chased after... more

My husband took me and the three boys on two day passes for the fourth of July weekend. My family and I had so much fun. The lines were never too long and there was always something to do. The restrooms are clean. The food expensive but excellent.. I would recommend this place for any more

I went with my boyfriend and another family (a 3 & 6 year olds between us) and every wingle one of us had an awesome time. There were rides that we could all enjoy together as well as some the kids could go on by themselves. The roller coaters and thrill rides weren't bad either. If you go, make sure... more

We spent a week in Branson and bought season passes to SDC. We stayed at Eagle's nest resort, just around the corner, with a great view of the big roller coasters! We only had 2 days at SDC. The first day we spent pretty much exclusively on rides. It had rained, so we didn't get there until about 10, and... more

I have read many of these reviews and I think people are forgetting that this is a theme park not an amusement park. They are famous for the shops and craftsmen ship not the rides however most of the rides are well themed with the park and fun for thrill seekers. Don't forget to do the cave its the whole... more

The good: I've always loved Silver Dollar City, first as a kid and now as a dad. It is a glimpse of the past, with plenty of things for the young and young at heart. Roller coasters to 1880s crafts is a pretty wide variety! The bad: Pricing is exaggerated, and I wish management would work to lower food and... more

Rides are great! Setting is beautiful. Very kid-friendly but also very comfortable for those of us in our 50's and up. Shows are very, very good. Only complaint is PRICES inside the park. A joke. $9.00 for a plastic mug when you are dying of thirst; however, it is refillable for $2.50. haha Who can afford that? The cup doesn't... more

We enjoyed this park so much, wish we could have stayed longer than 2 days. We have season passes to Six Flags over Texas, but wish Six Flags was more like Silver Dollar City...Very friendly people working at SDC, young and old employees alike. My 15 yr old nephew loved the knife blacksmith. Our girls, 6, 8 and 11 loved... more
