If you like theme parks ... Six Flags, Disney, etc., you'll like Silver Dollar City. Dolly and her compatriots (yep ... it's owned by the Dolly Parton corp) have done a good job of giving you a mountain experience. Lots of interesting craftsmen, woodworkers, etc. can be found among all of the many and different rides and entertain venues. The... More

Great, family friendly theme park with wonderful military discounts. Plenty of shade, shows and rides for all ages!

At least Silver Dollar City has started to build new rides and attractions, but some are very dated, and it's starting to show it's age. Shows are ok, rides..are average. For the money, I'd go to Disney or Universal. It's just too expensive for just an average (at best) park. Food is way overpriced, and not very good.

Tons of people. Tons of music but you'll need to plan that out because the seating disappears quickly. Lots of shops where you can spend hours. It was a unique venue and very popular on the holiday weekend of Thanksgiving.

We go here every year in May and have a great time. The rides are much better than when I was younger. The lines for the big rides move quickly.

Silver Dollar City is a great place for family fun. It is set in the 1880's. The workers are all dressed periodically. They have rides and shows. A place the whole family would enjoy.
