Today, the family legacy continues to wow audiences by delivering everything from traditional country to today’s #1 hits and lots of side-splitting comedy. Now, the 2nd & 3rd generations of the Mabe family carry on the family tradition of performing an all new show each year. Both longtime Baldknobbers’ fans and new fans alike appreciate the Baldknobbers’ family traditions that have made this show popular from generation to generation. In 2011, the Baldknobbers original costumes, instruments and artifacts were added to the permanent collection of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. « less

I had been to Branson many, many times and had never seen the Baldknobbers Jamboree....I had heard so much about it being "The show that started it all" etc. so this last trip to Branson, we made a point to see this show. We were a bit dissapointed. The singing was just alright, the jokes were old and corny...the 2... More

It was what I expected, a combination of comedy and singing. However, I especially enjoyed the comedy acts. It's a nice family show.

Loved the comedy from the very opening act which started before we arrived and kept going until almost show time. Loved Denton Mabe's singing the most of the group. A big help to the show would be if they replaced Megan (lead singer) and changed the southern gospel songs with more popular southern gospel or Christian songs. It was the... More

When I booked my shows this was a must see that I wouldn't miss. But since the last time I was there it has gone downhill, not near the show it use to be.

I grew up seeing this show in the 80"s. I wanted to share it with my kids but wish we had skipped it. I felt like the singers were good but did not put much effort into the show. The MC seemed bored with the comedy sketch. With that said my husband a newbie thought it was good.

This show was a type of hillbilly variety show with singing and comedy. It was celebrating it 55th year and is still a family business. The singing was good but I enjoyed the comedy more.

This show has been on for a long time and continues to be such a fun evening. The comedy was wonderful and the singing and dancing were very good. It was a good family show with lots of variety.

If you are into country music and corny jokes this show is for you. Think Hee Haw. My husband loved it while the rest of us thought it was just OK.

Performers in this show change frequently, so sometimes it is good and sometimes it is bad. Also, they are including more and more corny comedy.
