Today, the family legacy continues to wow audiences by delivering everything from traditional country to today’s #1 hits and lots of side-splitting comedy. Now, the 2nd & 3rd generations of the Mabe family carry on the family tradition of performing an all new show each year. Both longtime Baldknobbers’ fans and new fans alike appreciate the Baldknobbers’ family traditions that have made this show popular from generation to generation. In 2011, the Baldknobbers original costumes, instruments and artifacts were added to the permanent collection of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. « less

The show was fun and everyone was very talented. You can tell they have done this a long time and had a lot of practice. Glad this was one of our choices.

We have been to Branson maybe 8 times and this show is always a must as it never fails to bring smiles to our faces...... They do play a bit too much on the ''fiance'' bit of the main person and she is not as great as she could be, i'd chose the blond if I was him, but since... More

It was a good show. Good comedy and music. The musicians and singers were very talented. I would have preferred more music and less comedy, but all in all it was good. The finale was totally awesome!!!

The show was somewhat disappointing. Felt they were trying to showcase the main performers fiancée, who was not good and off key. The comedy duo was funny in spots but became annoying. Too much talk and not enough music. This may be the oldest show, but clearly not the best.

We enjoyed the Baldknobber show but, we used to go see them many years ago when the original Mabe family owned and performed there. They are the ones that started music in Branson down at the campgrounds of Lake Tanycomo. Many of them have died and some have some age on them. This would be a good family show to... More

It was a good show. The band was terrific the comedy was hilarous and some of the covers were good but you could tell that some covers were just too big for some folks but the cover of the song was good...the blond newcomer has a great voice and I cant wait to see her get more than just one... The best parts of this show were the comedians and the history. The sound system isn't the best. It is hard to clearly hear the words of the songs. They have pictures of deceased Mabe family members in the entrance area. I enjoyed googling their names and finding cause of death - history of the original entertainers and how the... More

It seems that the Mabe family is turning more of the show over to the young members of the family, and that does not seem to be working. Denton Mabe seems to believe he is as talented as his mother, and he is not!

Enjoyed the show. We were recommended to the show by Kim at the Grand plaza Hotel . Since this was our first show in Branson, it was a great way to start our visit.
