Description: The Branson's first show that started in 1959. Today, the family legacy...
The Branson's first show that started in 1959. Today, the family legacy continues to wow audiences by delivering everything from traditional country to today’s #1 hits and lots of side-splitting comedy. Now, the 2nd & 3rd generations of the Mabe family carry on the family tradition of performing an all new show each year. Both longtime Baldknobbers’ fans and new fans alike appreciate the Baldknobbers’ family traditions that have made this show popular from generation to generation. In 2011, the Baldknobbers original costumes, instruments and artifacts were added to the permanent collection of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History.

Funny, entertaining and a definite must see. We were a little skeptical at first, but we were pleasantly surprised. Great family entertainment for all ages. This will be a definite stop for us in the future.

I was expecting a country show with singing and some "country" comedy. However, the comedy routines turned out to be very disappointing, and really brought down the energy of the show every time the comedians appeared. The lame MadLibs routine was something that kids do in fourth grade for entertainment; it should not be at a professional show. The singing was... More

This show is very family and kid friendly and they done a great job. The band is talented and the singers was good. The comedians were so funny. They kept you laughing during the show. When we return to this area this would be a show that I'd like to see again.

I can see why this show has been voted one of the best shows in Brandon. The Baldknobber family started their shows in 1959 and the family members and other performers put as much heart and enthusiasm into today's show as they must have done years ago. This show would be suitable for any family. It is filled with good,... More

The band was decent, the female singers were pretty good. The male singers were off key & out of time mostly. The comedians were great! Overall I would say this definitely wasn't worth the money or the time. The theater looks and smells old, again for the money we expected way more than we recieved. We won't be going here... More

Very disappointed in show. Sound was terrible and poor singing other than Denton. Hargus was funny. Rest of Mabe family and Megan was very poor. They need to hire some talented singers. First time there and will be last. Judging by the 3/4 empty theatre not the only one with that opinion. A lot better country shows in Branson to... More

Great fun show! Good family fun! Attend as many shows when in town. They are fun. Some of them include dinner. It was great attending the Branson area during Christmas vacation, because there wasn't any traffic. I have heard the traffic is really bad in the summer.

Truly a Branson main stay. This is actually our third visit to the Baldknobbers over 25 years. The faces may age, some may retire while some come on board. A wonderful family show of music and humor, and they never forget to honor the men and women who have served and serve our Nation. Will make you smile, make you... More

A C-minus at best. Don't waste $39 +/- to see (endure) this event. Cheesy stage show in two 50-minute sets and in the aggregate just over half of the time was lame comedy. Tempo seemed plodding. The warm-up, dry-spoken comedian was MUCH better. Contemporary country (good) music but... vocals HARD to hear (balance was bad) and... only C+ or B-... More

The show use to be great, now all the younger family members have taken over and they are not as talented as the former people. Megan mumbles and is difficult to understand and Brandon is not a good singer and looked bored most of the time. The highlights for me were Hargus singing, and the younger Mabe guy singing. Also,...
