We very much enjoyed our 5 night visit here. Being November, the park had plenty of vacancies and lots of peace and quiet. The sites are spacious and are angled to provide maximum privacy. Very nice and much appreciated. There is an active railroad track nearby and although we heard the trains they didn't bother us - we were too... More

We went here years ago--short drive from New Orleans. Good beaches nearby, waterslide and wavepool. Nice to cool off on a hot summer day.

This park has nice, large, paved sites that are not close together. Many of the sites are partially shaded. No problem with water, sewer, or electricity. It is a nice area for bike riding. That being said, I really don't think we will go back again. The relatively new shower buildings were filthy. The showers themselves were not cleaned in... More

It is near shopping and very close to the beach. Sites are roomie . The pool is fantastic! Clean facilities and plenty of walking area. Train comes through several times a day but is not bothersome. Ease pull in sites. We are definitely coming back with the granskids.

This was our first time to Waveland and the State Park. It is very large with over 200 RV sites. Nice trees around most sites. They also have a primitive tent area too. After Labor Day the pools are closed, so we did not get to enjoy the wave pool or slide. They do have hiking trails and a nice... More

The park is nice and well maintained and in a beautiful area across from the bay. My only complaint was the water park was outrageous..I had already planned on taking the kids while there but it cost over $64 for myself, a 12yo. a 9yo, and a 2 yo. I paid it but was very disappointed when we got in... More

The best RV sites are on the north end of the park where there is more shade. That is also where the train tracks are located. Trains run night and day and they are close enough to see them as they go by. The park is clean and the staff was very helpful. We would love to go again, but... More

We loved the Wavepool! The waterslides were great also. The site is beautiful next to the beach. I would like to see better lunch options. The grilled chicken was awful.

We enjoy going to the wave pool but the price for my 2 year old to get in is outrageous. $13.00 for my daughter to get in and she can't even get on the slides. The parking prices have also went up. If your paying to get in the water park why should you have to pay to park also?... More
