The great big, glaring thing missing from the Tunica experience in early years was, well, the river, and if nothing else this park at least addresses that failing of the private sector. Heck, if you looked at the location of Robinsonville it'd be easy to just ASSUME that casinos wanted to use riverfront placement to scenic advantage, but that'd be... More

The river park is a decent place to visit and walk around. The riverboat docks and disembarks from here on weekends. However, the impressive looking museum was closed both times we visited and no one was around. There are nature trails and picnic tables but they are apparently seldom utilized. The main entrance to the park was locked and the... More

We were there on April 23 and nothing was open. What a beautiful, quiet location. The swamps in the park had high water and the Mississippi was still running high. There was a lot of limbs and brush washed up along the pier where the riverboat was docked. There are areas to picnic and just sit and watch the river.... More

The Riverboat cruises were not running due to the high water in the Mighty Mississippi. The museum is a bit pricey so did not go in to see what it as about. The park itself was so quiet and beautiful to walk along the river walk and watch the tugs gracefully maneuver this river. A beautiful site.

The museum suits at the edge of the Mississippi River and offers a great view of the river. It has a number of short films and videos offering historical information on the formation and importance of this mightiest of rivers, as well as a large aquarium display of the fish and turtles living there. There are displays and stories of... More

Really beautiful riverfront park. There are walking trails, horse trails, a pier into the river, riverboat cruises. Really pretty place.

nice view of the Mississippi, worth a look especially with the river almost to flood level currently. they have a nice nature trail and a couple spots to walk right out on point of the river. there is a river boat that offers both day trips and dinner cruises. its a nice spot on the river that none of the... I found the Park to be a rather breathtaking place overall; considering there are few quality parks existing in the area. There were a few people present so noise was no problem. I think the facilities were closed while we were there which was about noon on a Sunday; since no attendants were present and the boat docked was closed... More
