This beach is one of the many beaches along the Adelaide coastline just below the southern edge of the city. It doesn't get as packed as the metropolitan beaches but is just a good. You can get here on public transport, but it takes a while, so a car is recommended.

One of the best beaches in South Australia. So many great summers were spent down here with the family. Can get busy in the summer.

When first in Adelaide from Qld I was taken for a visit to Aldinga and found it breathtakingly beautiful. Then to drive along it was even more exciting. We have been back many times and love it every time. We also take our visitors there whenever we can.

Worth a drive and a visit. You can drive on the beach as the tide recedes but watchout for tidal returns. Make sure you wash your vehicle after visiting the beach as the salt in the sand can be quite corrosive on vehicles. Remember to keep your speed low as children appear from between parked vehicles. Wonderful large beach and... More

Aldinga beach is a great location for a day at the beach. You have to pay a fee, but its possible to drive onto the beach. Otherwise plenty of parking available. There are shops around and public toilets. Accommodation is also available.

There are camel rides and other activities . The kids can have a great time, Parents can paddle in the water, swim or just lie on the... More

One of only two beaches in SA that you can drive on during spring and summer months. Which makes is ideal for families with a car full of food, beach cricket towels etc. If you don't want to drive a large car park is situated at the entrance to the beach. A few toilets are scattered along the length of... More

Stunning beach perfect for a walk from the tar of Greece down to the headland, up a steep hill and back along the cliff line (30-40 minutes). Some steps/slopes but manageable for the averagely fit. Or if you are a runner this is a great circuit for some hill training. Walk the opposite way and you avoid the hills and... More
