The museum is nice. It is best to go when they have a feature exhibit. It is located near old downtown and there are some good restraurants near by.

This is a World Class art museum in a small town atmosphere. A must-see for anyone visiting Laurel, Ms. Lauren-Rogers is a wonderfully appointed and presented piece of the history of AmeRican art and culture.

My wife and I returned to Laurel for our 50 year HS Reunion and spent our spare time cruising the town to relieve memories. We missed the tour with out HS group but were able to visit the next day on our own to see how it compared to our memories. It is still free, still a beautiful building in... More

Most busy travelers have been to the great Museums in New York, Boston, DC. So many of those, while wonderful for days of exploration, are overwhelming, but not the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art. It's the perfect size for enjoying architecture, paintings, and the extraordinary collections of real people. Visitors talk about the Silver collections, or the baskets, so fascinating... More

Amazing collection and exceptional special exhibits, especially when you consider this is in a small town in Mississippi. If you're in the area, it's worth the visit.

LRMA is an amazing facility. With beautiful exhibits and great staff, I have throughly enjoyed every visit. The gift shop is stocked with wonderful educational toys and crafts along with gorgeous pottery and locally made jewelry. Definitely worth a visit.

This Museum is a hidden treasure. We went to see the world's smallest woven basket! We saw a basket about the size of thimble and thought that was it - but then the curator opened a drawer and there thru a magnifing glass was a basket smaller than a match head. Beautiful! The entire musuem - done up in an... More

For such a modest town, Laurel has a top quality art research and art museum. Well funded with a 100 year old endowment.
