Quite a small museum, but nice. All about Mississippi and its artists. In a great area with the planatarium and theatre in the same complex. Museum is free, has a gift shop and cafe. I would recommend it. More

The MIssissippi Museum of art has a very good permanent collection that contains: Pre-Columbian art, Mississippi folk art, Mississippi Quilts, Jacob Lawrence, Andy Warhol, Robert Henri, Mary Cassatt, and a special focus Mississippi artists.
