Like one time we went to a Bat exhibit they had it was very interesting there was a guy there talking about the bats and we got to see one of the largest bats there is up close and personal. Several fish displays a nice walking trail. And the... More

Two hour drive from Hammond, La and I will gladly return here. Inexpensive, clean, right off interstate, and lots of free parking. Perfect for a family day. Interesting, educational, and interactive! My kids are 9 & 11, they can't wait to go back!

Its a nice place to go when you have some time to kill. Would have liked it to be a bit bigger and more in depth for my daughter but she is only 4. If you have older children it would be awesome. Though she did fall in love with the aquarium that they have there.

This excellent museum has exhibits for everyone: wetlands, extinct species, endangered species; fossils, terrestrial habitats, aquatic habitats, environmental learing center, preschool room and an aquarium with all kinds of fish, aligators, turtles. Through large windows you can view different species of birds at several feeders, and the squirrels are fed too. This is really a fun place for the entire... More

This museum was a great couple of hours for me and my 12 yr old son. The aquarium part was bigger than expected, and we enjoyed the nature trails.

My oldest child (age 6) is an animal lover so we were excited to visit this museum on our trip to Jackson. Her interest far surpassed my expectations! There is so much to see and touch in this museum, and my 2 year old loved it as well. The Wolf to Woof exhibit was informative yet still captured both of... More

Our favorite parts of the MS Museum of Natural Science are the aquariums and bird displays downstairs. If the weather is pretty, the trails are very nice and a great way to enjoy a nice day while getting a little exercise.

We visit here regularly. The new exhibit is really interesting! It's definitely more educational than things "to do". My older child (8) enjoyed it more than my six year old. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
