I read one of these reviews that said don't waste your time. This is a great place to waste time and if you do you may learn something or see something you have never seen. Firstly the admission is $6. You can stay inside and enjoy the aquariums and displays and children activities and hands on displays all day if... More

This something that adults and children can enjoy together. They have people that can answer the kids questions and lots of Mississippi items to look at that will hold the interest of children as well as adults. Good places to bring lunch and eat outside before or after you visit. Exhibts are changed around during the year so you can... More

A great place to take the grands for a couple o hours of fun. The aquariums and snake enclosures are their favorites. They even have a live two headed snake. All the exhibits are about right for young children. (7 and 5).

First of all the pricing is TERRIBLE!! My son hated it and said it was a waste of time. Another Reason why it was horrible was the exhibits. I'm telling If you don't want to waste your money and time DO NOT go here. Thanks -Serena Miranda

It's a nice place to stop and look around. Some really unique animals and exhibits. My 3 and 6 year old loved it. My husband and I found it very informative. I would recommend you stop by and walk around. The out door trails and really nice too.

This is a fun museum if you are into nature and wildlife. We took our 8 month old and she loved to look at the fish. The outdoor trails are nice as well. Would be a fun outing if you only had about 2 hours to kill.

We went to Jackson for a wedding and had a few hours of down time. We hear this museum was celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday. As a kindergarten teacher and mommy, I loved that! They had amazing activities and were very organized and friendly. We even got to take a family picture with The Cat in the Hat. My litte girl... More

I visited the museum with my son and grandson (almost 2). The collection is housed in a beautiful building with glass covering almost all of one side. It's on a lovely property with lots of walking trails. The staff was courteous, pleasant and helpful. We went on a Monday and had almost the entire building to ourselves. My grandson was... More

Another great place in the Jackson area to take your kids to play and have some fun. Storytime for the toddlers is a big hit with our daughter. Some of the exhibits change out during the year which is nice as it gives us an excuse to go again and have an entirely different subject matter to entertain.
