Zoo admission is only $5 for adults, and parking is free. The exhibits were clean, creative and well-maintained. Staff was friendly. There was a splash pad near the concession stand. We had a wonderful visit!

This was the Zoo I grew up with, remember when it was Free.. But still worth the value!! My boys want to go back ASAP!! Oldest said I don't care if we don't ever go to another Zoo. Yes it is smaller lacking the bigger animals but Still inviting with a Cool Splash Pad, Mining for Gems is a Must... More

Took my three granddaughters on Father's Day and had the best time! Zoo tickets are $5 for Adults ($4 for Seniors), $3 for Children 3-12yrs old. I also purchased train tickets($?) and mining for gemstones tickets ($5) at the Entrance gate. Both were well worth the price! Also enjoyed the $2 Snow-cone pavilion at the far end of the zoo.... This zoo was a complete shocker! It's small, but the attention to detail makes up for the size. This zoo is very clean and neat and great for kids and adults. The best thing about it is that it's only $5 for adults. Even though I'm over 100 miles away, I'll be going back!

This zoo isn't huge- you can do the whole thing in a couple of hours. I love nearby so we go pretty regular. The only thing you should know before going- you have to buy train tickets and carousel tickets at the front gate, so if you know you want to ride those, go ahead and buy them when you... More

Nice zoo, like others said its not very large but well maintained and staffed. Not a main attraction but a nice stop over when you have a little extra time. The area around the zoo can be a bit urban,I was able to fend off a car jacking with my Glock 23 and quick action. I cant hold the zoo liable... More

The Hattiesburg Zoo is always growing and expanding. A wonderful experience for all. Very well kept and clean. Summer camp options are awesome for campers. Education is exceptional at the zoo by all personnel. They also have grand events during the year at Halloween and Christmas. And lots of other occasions. Fun! Fun! Fun!

A very small but very worth the 5$ per person charge as it is very well mantain and teh animals look clean, well feed and happy (As happy as one can be living in a zoo!) We made a pit stop on our way to New orleans and kill about two hours. I would say don't pay for the train... More
