My husband and I took our children and we loved this zoo. Its small but very well put together and very clean. My children loved the splash pad and all the other interactive things to do at this zoo. My husband and I enjoyed it as much as the kids did.

We had a party here for the children of our church. It was so much fun! We did the EdZooCation room, and had an animal encounter. The kids got to see a giant bunny, baby alligator and barred owl. The kids were fascinated and it was so much fun!

The Hattiesburg Zoo is newly renovated and I was pleasantly surprised by the upgrades. New exhibits and experiences for the kids all around. If you live in or around Hattiesburg, I highly recommended a visit if it's been awhile. Well done!

This is a really nice little zoo. Not that many exhibits, but the ones they have are really well done. We really enjoyed it.

Not too bad for Hattiesburg! They have made lots of improvements over the last several years. My 3 year old loves going to the zoo.

I visit this zoo every time I come to Hattiesburg. I have a four year old grandson who lives in Hattiesburg and he loves this zoo. This time I found they had added a playground and some new exhibits. My grandson loves seeing the new sloth. The zookeepers are friendly and informative. Great place for younger children.

My children always enjoy their visits to the Hattiesburg Zoo! The place is well kept and full of lots of animals to visit! There is always work ongoing to improve the experience. We especially love the train ride!

If you've got young kids (3-8 years old maybe), then go see it. They will like it! If you're expecting to be blown away and want a real zoo experience, go to New Orleans and pay the real zoo prices. It's a good way to get the kids out of the house and have outdoor family time. Small and cute,... More

We are in town for the 9u baseball World Series. They held the opening ceremonies here. Great location and easy to find! After ceremony we walked around zoo. It had a great deal of shaded areas. There were a few petting areas and lots of neat animals. They had a splash play area and playground area with a sliding hill... More

Was looking forward to going to the zoo. I hadn't visited in 12 years. People were friendly but the animals were miserable. Confined to small species. It smelled bad. Yes I know animals can stink. There are no elephants, giraffes or bears. It is more like a walk in the park than a trip to the zoo. Just disappointed.
