Don't miss this place. Memorabilia and information spanning seemingly every stage of the development of popular music, and a particularly good exhibit of local musicians (ie legendary bluesmen!). The lady who showed us round the first part of the collection gave us so much interesting local background it really brought home to us what an amazing place for music Clarkesdale... More

Due to unexpected circumstances we didn't actually enter the museum but the reception by Theo Dasbach, the owner, was excellent, friendly and very informative. A little later we saw him perform in the Bluesberry Cafe, together with Watermelon Slim and Sean "Bad" Apple. Visit the museum, help Theo keep his dream alive and enjoy Clarksdale, the birthplace of Blues... More

Tons of Rock/Blues Memorabilia. Owners are so nice, and love to chat with patrons about their collection and Clarksdale. Don't miss it. More

I'm a major music collector and love the history of Rock, Blues etc. This place blows away the official museum in town both for hospitality and content. The owner is really hospitable and this is clearly a labour of love not a commercial enterprise. Lot's of treasures to admire from early 78's through Beatles posters etc. Interesting that both here... More

What a fantastic experience for Blues & Rock fans like my wife & myself. The displays are meticulously arranged in chronological order taking the visitor on a hundred year ride from the birth of the Blues, to the birth of it's offspring Rock & Roll, to present day. Owners Theo & Cindy have spent decades collecting artifacts & researching trivia.... More

I arrived at the published opening time to be confronted with a hand written note saying it would open at 12, instead of 10. On returning after 12 it was still closed, so didn't get to see the museum. Very disappointed More

Visited here on a "blues weekend" with my husband. The best place that we saw by far. The owner is a real fan of the local heritage and is familiar with the history of music. Excellent!! More
