I recommend this tour to one who visits biloxi. My husband and I went on this tour on 6/28/2014. We had so much fun. We learned alot about the history of Biloxi, its architecture and of course the devistation that hurricane Katrina had on this beautiful city. Some might think that we should have heard more about architecture and history... More

Hardly any historical information whatsoever. Focused on landmarks with little significance, while overlooking important, beautiful architecture. You will be held captive for 2 hours listening to criticism of how the media and government neglected Biloxi after Katrina. There are great things to see and do in Biloxi, but this isn't one of them. Please don't waste your time or money.

Miss Carla, the host of the tour was very friendly and knew a lot of the history of the town, the hurricanes. It was also a cool day and she provided blankets for everyone on the tour which was a great gesture. Would definitely recommend if you are in Biloxi

It was a boring tour about what is not here after Hurricane Katrina hit the area in 2005 with some historical information about the city. I am originally from Gulfport & love to take this relaxing old Shrimp Train tour but it wasn't the old Shrimp train tour. Miss Carla as she refers to herself way too many times was... More

The "Shrimp Tour" tram that begins at the Biloxi Lighthouse is a must take tour while in Biloxi to learn of the heritage and sites of that city. Carla is a wonderful tour guide, great personality and I liked the fact she recalled the states each of us were from who were on the tour on March 22nd 11am. She... More

Not exactly what I thought it was going to be, but relaxing and fun none the less.... The guide Carla was sweet spirited, funny and informative. We waved at the locals and they greeted us as well. The trip was full of local culture and personal stories. Lots about the impact of Katrina... I would not say it was GREAT,... More

Carla does a great tour. I've been to Biloxi many times, but this was my first tour. I really enjoyed it, and learned quite a bit. It was a cold day, but Carla had blankets for us. Be sure to call ahead for reservations. It picks up at the lighthouse, so you can walk the beach while you wait. As... More

Though the train itself is a bit creaky, our guide August was funny and warm. He showed us some superb examples of the homes, told us about the industry and showed us a lot of the damage from the hurricanes. The memorials for the victims of Camille and Katrina were very moving to see.

My husband and I were in town on business and were lucky to enjoy a sunny, mild January Sunday. We happened to catch the tour train just before it pulled out...not knowing anything about it. Wow...were we in for a ride! Carla is very knowledgeable about her hometown and its history, and she tells the fun stories, not the boring... More

I am not sure if there is really nothing in Bioloxi to see on a tour or if this is just an awful tour. We had one day in Biloxi and thought we would make the most of it by taking a local tour. It was awful. I know Katrina was devastating for the area, however, if that is all... More
